Matchmaking wait time on PS4 is garbage
What happened to the new matchmaking system? It was great when it first rolled out but now me and my friends are back to having to wait damn near an hour to get into a match. Kinda makes us want to stop playing. Devs, hows about fixing this B.S.?

My friends and I waited 45 minutes for a match only to have the killer dc in the lobby. We readied up again, waited another half hour...killer DC's when the map loads. Said screw it, shut the game off and now going to bed.

The killer DCing is BS, but it happens all the time unfortunately. We go through the same stuff on a regular basis. The wait times though you would think to be a solvable problem. Hopefully the devs can get this fixed soon. If not, I’m more than happy to just delete this damn game off of my system and focus my attention on games that don’t have this issue.

Yeah the swf matchmaking on PS4 is awful. A lot of my friends hardly play anymore because of this. We were all really excited when the new matchmaking system rolled out but then it was removed so suddenly. At this point I’m starting to lose hope on this game.

That's because killers on PS4 (like me) are quitting DBD. We refuse to play until they do something about this swf bullshit and genpumping rush.

Basically. I get instant lobbies as killer but sometimes I have to wait 10+ minutes for a lobby as a solo survivor.

Both myself and @TheShrew both play killer and have backed away to play other games from the posts I have seen seems like others ps4 killers here have also.
It's really not great to be so stressed all the time (killer is a very stressful role) to be then to get hit by messages after the game being horrible.
Trust me when I say this I'm a fair player I do not camp or tunnel or play unfair but I still get insulted on a daily bias from my perk choices.. BTW I don't use noed lol
To just being harassed by party invites so I can get told I'm the worst and I should give up lol when I was playing a killer for a daily I don't really get on well with.
When I play survivor I always gg the killer regardless of how they have played and leave them gifts of tool boxes at the exit gates as a thank you for giving us the game!
Not saying you have to do this BTW lol
But the way people treat each other needs to change I'm not saying you have to be my best friend but being thankful and polite does wonders.
Also the bugs don't get me started please we need bug fixes 🙏

Killer lobbies on PS4 are near instant. Playing solo drastically reduces queue time also. Maybe if they made swf more fair then killers would play more. It's no fun being abused by 4 people on coms.

It's nothing to do with matchmaking trust me I play both sides extremely long waits as a survivor solo or with my friend. We waited so long last night 45 mins for a match and it was a Friday to boot!
also I'm apart of a community find players etc for dbd and noticed a huge drop in sessions going on so clearly people on both sides are drifting away.
But I'm now on my normal Saturday night drinking and dbd killer games if you see a pig being a little weird then just know your in for a fun game

Here’s what I don’t understand about killers complaining about SWF... It’s an online multiplayer game. One of the main purposes behind any multiplayer game is the ability to play with friends and work towards a goal. In this particular game that’s getting gens done, and providing one another with effective communication to be able to survive, evade the killer, and ultimately escape. Now, me and my friends play a lot together. Some games we escape. Some we get completely wrecked. Most of the time though it’s somewhere in between. And good killers, 9 times out of 10 get the better of us. I play as killer sometimes too. And I’ve played against SWF groups. It can be annoying at times but half of the time I wipe em out. So not wanting to play because of SWF, although I can kind of understand, is not necessarily the way to go in my opinion. I see that as an opportunity to get better as killer.
