EVERY ######### MATCH AND EVERY GODDAMN USELESS HEX PLACING SPAWN NEAR MOTHERFUCKING GENS BUT ALSO OUTSIDE OF BASEMENT

I'm sorry but I'M REALLY SALTY RIGHT NOW because all i want is practice Plague BUT EVERY 1~2 minutes and BOOM you waste your 1 perk ALREADY

    Jesus, dude chill...

    I've always thought totems should still be active after they get destroyed but they stay active in a nerfed way.

    Like... If you destroy Ruin you'll only get the ruin effect whenever someone is hooked or something like that... It's pretty stupid that killers end up with 3 perk slots because of RNG...

    Simple fix, don't run Ruin. It's unreliable and other perks are better. You've got a good anti genrush build anyway. Corrupt intervention makes your start game a lot easier and NOED to counter genrush. I'd recommend running something like Brutal Strength since Plague breaks pallets slow af. You don't need Ruin.

    1-2 minutes is actually good. My totem always pops after 40-50 seconds.

    @Poweas I have to agree. Hag is one of the killers I don't have the teachables unlocked for yet, and I'm not even putting the 1+ million BP into her for them. Until such time, maybe one day in the far distant future, when Hex perks aren't so easy to get rid of and last for more than 60-90 seconds in a game, there are far better Perks to use.

    I see zero point in running Ruin with how things are for Hex perks. It's like purposefully gimping yourself and only running a three Perk loadout.

    I run small game to find hex totems/totems in general. If you don't run them, I am wasting my time. If you do, then you can't blame me for using my perk to counter your perk(s).

    @Kilmeran if you do get Hag, you don't even need ruin for her, despite her taking 1 or 2 gens time to set up, she can snowball a team so hard, it won't even get to endgame and you'll just win with a massive snowball. Its why Hag is stronger than Billy for me. But Hag is a pretty OP killer, and she doesn't even need perks or addons to 4k at rank 1. Same for Spirit, Hag and Billy.

    Although, I'll admit I'm struggling without Ruin as Spirit since she can't snowball as ridiculously as Hag, but I'm getting there and im starting to 4k more consistently.

    Hmm, when i play against ruin, it usually lasts around 3-5 minutes, because i am the only one searching and everyone else is hidding.

    Here is MORE hex totem spawning on NEAR generator

    This happen almost every match and it's feels good when you're playing survivors but extremely frustrating when you're playing killer

    (Heck, even me playing survivor is getting easier to find Ruins now THANKS for not caring and ignoring this forever!)

    That's not the issue. Totem spawns even with the line of sight adjustment are just bad in general. It just checks to see if a survivor could see it from where they spawned, but not if they are actually concealed. The mechanic in general probably needs an overhaul, but that is a discussion for later.

    I wonder who chose some of the new totem spawns, You'd think it'd be a given to never have a totem in the shack since it's a go to place for looping or looking for a gen but there's always that one by the entrance or along the side of the wall that can be so easily spotted when walking by.

    I think they should change the texture on the skulls too, maybe add some blood or dirt because they are so easy to spot especially the lit totems maybe reduce the brightness of the flame on those too.


    There's plenty of spots on a map that you could have as spawn points with some tall grass to help hide them better but I guess having them beside a generator is fine 😅
