Legion Bug and Ban Discussion
You know, I don't usualky read forums, except for the updates here and there. When I heard Legion was getting a rework I was kinda worried, at least up until I saw this bug everyone was talking about, being done by the double blade combo. Then I understood why he needed the rework.
I guess is less of a rework and more of a bug fix. Because I can only imagine just standing there and mending about 1 minute, then 2 minutes (just stack the minutes, you get the idea.) Here I thought it was just survivors being the typical cry babies (no offence), but yeah. That Legion add on bug definetly needs to be fixed.
If the rework only fixes that from Legion, then I'll be content. Because I sure as heck would not like to go up against those add ons as a survivor even though I don't often play survivor, I just play survivors with a friend or two with my usual Camouflage Claudete. (Go invisibility)
There are things I consider fair game when I personally face a Legion. If he moonwalks, fair game. Other killers moonwalk too to hide their red stain. I sure do it more often with Freddy than Legion. So is fair game. I get down because of him stalking me from afar while I'm in mending, fair game. He's not doing anything wrong. If anything he's playing Legion the way he's supposed to be played.
But this filthy blade bug (or better said, double blade bug. I want to test latter if is both the blades that are bug in a kyf latter.) Is indeed broken. Like this is pretty mucn worst than the time NOED was a permanent perk that downs everyone (ah the old days of DBD) because at least then you could at least do something. However, this mending bug (filthy blade bug I mean) is like way worst. At least with NOED now, there is a counter to it. But this bug, this bug is like having a Ruin on steroids, and not just regular steroids, just a steroids that everytime you use them, it gets even stronger and stronger.
Legion, in general is one of the easier killers to master (I'll say about the 3rd easiest) and be effective as, but this bug does need to be fixed. Thankfully the devs are working on that as I write this so that's a relief. While I do think banning people that are using this (and didn't know about the bug) does seem to be in the overdoing it part. Because I sure didn't know until today about this bug. (Apologies for the survivors on ps4 who I used these add ons on.) I do understand why they are doing it. It should be more of a warning then a ban for those who just simply didn't know this was a thing. (No I was not ban for those wondering. I use cooldown add ons mostly.)
But yeah, it was interesting for me. I honestly never knew this was a thing. Hopefully again the rework does fix this. What will the rework itself do to Legion? I'm not sure myself, but one thing is for sure. The mending bug is definetly something we can all live without.

Remove the stacking and increase the baseline mend time to 60 seconds. 80 and 100 for the blades, stacking to 120 if both are used.

So basically make this game even more of an M1 simulator? Holding down M1 for 80 seconds is already boring enough. Have you even played Survivor at all?

To ban is a bit of a kick in the teeth tbh.
The bug needs fixed asap but they shouldn't remove someone's ability to play due to a mistake they made, how do they tell the difference between those who do it intentionally and those who don't?
Quick solution is to just disable the add-on mix, simple and effective and also put in game text saying why.

Agreed

I honestly do believe the add ons should stack, but the bug should just dissapear.

He's just one of those pure killer mains threw and threw. Let him be.

Disregard Colgate, they are roleplaying a killer-main-as-seen-by-survivor-main stereotype.

@twistedmonkey Did you get banned for it?
How many teeth did you lose when they kicked you in the mouth?
