All of the generators get blocked. It would be impossible for the last guy to escape of the gates didn't power up. The endgame collapse would be completely unnecessary in that case, may as well just kill the last guy if that happens.

They can get these escapes without needing to do any generators. Under the current system survivors must do two gens minimum in order for just one of them to get a chance for the hatch. No gens repaired means they are all screwed.
Under this new system there is a chance for escape even if no gens are repaired.
Does that seem like a fair balanced system?

Yea killers are happy cuz the exit gates spawn right next to each other so they can just close the hatch and walk back and forth between the exit gates until they see the survivor and bam....free kill (just like they've been crying for)

Nah fam, exit gates don't always spawn next to each other. Sometimes they do even be on opposite sides of map. No free kill there.

I am confused - I thought the timer started when the exit is opened, not powered? And closing the hatch would just power the exits?

Thought, are the Pig's traps still going to kill you if you exit an exit gate without removing it? She might have stronger end game than freddy since she can now remove the hatch.

I REEEEALLY want to know this as well. Or, to be a little more general, if the Pig's traps will be changed in any way as a result of the new Endgame Collapse.

So...you’re saying if the killer kills 3 survivors before the gens are complete AND finds the hatch first, they shouldn’t have an advantage? The hatch wasn’t meant to be an automatic free escape to last survivor as it is now. Whoever finds the hatch first should hold the keys to how they want things to play out.

No , it's heavily in killer Favour cause now hag , Trapper and michael can just camp the Exit gates until the timer runs out and the Survivor dies 😑
