I believe that the pip system is just based on luck, rather than your actual play style. You could evade the killer all game and still get little to no pips. The piping system isn't in a good state right now because it forces you to farm, or be punished. I think that the killer pip system, on the other hand, is fine

    The killer pip system has issues too once you reach red ranks and that is if you win too fast you dont pip. That makes zero sense you down everyone with 0 gens done within a min and kill them all on their first hook. You couldnt have performed any better still you dont pip.

    Being punished for destroying opponents or opponents playing bad is not a good system. It should punish them for losing so hard not the other way around.

    If you are evading the killer the whole match and don't get found, then most likely you weren't taking any risk either.

    Risk vs Reward... Take more risk.
