Legion gets nerfed but not Hillbilly?
Isn't Hillbilly considered better than legion? I mean I know he was annoying but cmon, playing against a Hillbilly isn't exactly fun either. All they care about is doing chain saw, they never use M1. Feel like Hillbilly should of gotten the nerf instead.

Hillbilly is a wrecking ball but unlike Legion he can't nullify game mechanics and thus doesn't need a nerf. If anything all killers should get buffed to his strength. Hillbilly is strong enough to win games without tunneling and camping (if you're a good Billy) which should be the golden standard for EVERY killer the devs release.

Because Devs already said that if you want to be competitive you have to play either Billy or Nurse, that's why.

Billy is balanced, Legion isn't. Don't make me bring up how Billy used to be able to flick his chainsaw at the beginning AND the end of his chainsaw sprint. They already took that away from him for better balance, and he doesn't need a permanent Speed Limiter as part of his base kit.

Billy is getting his charge time add ons reworked. After that he'll be the most balanced killer in the game.
If you nerf every killer to be 'fun to play against' that would destroy the game. Generally the killers that are fun to play against are the ones who get looped constantly and can't put up much of a fight. It's very hard to have a killer be both strong and fun to play against.
Every killer should be on the same level as billy to be honest, It'd be so much healthier for the game in terms of variety. If billy was to get nerfed then expect nurse 9 times out of 10 games because the list of viable killers is already so small.

Legion didn't need a nerf, he needed to be completley reworked. It wasnt an issue that Legion was too strong, it was that the strongest way to play Legion was a gameplay style the Devs didnt intend. (Not an exploit, just not what they had in mind when designing the power) that wasnt fun to go against. They wanted Legion to be able to injure multiple survivors and then use M1 to finish them, but in the clusterfuck that must have been the design process they probably mashed 2 or 3 ideas into one and then released it.
Billy is balanced and stay the ######### away from Spirit.

Versing Hillbilly is the most fun thing for me, unless my team mates are absolutely potatoes and get snowballed in the first minute. Hilly can be looped, the mindgames with chainsaws are intense and it feels fair.
Legion was unfun. End of story.

Nurse is powerful too, but she needs a great hands and she have a good penalty in miss attacks, not like Hillbilly.

I'm very sure. Every game there's at least one and usually two or more DC's if i'm winning, especially early on. Do you really think all these Killers upset about the DC epidemic are just making this ######### up?

in all the years ive been playing this game i never face any other killer except the pig or wraith billy and nurse are the most that ppl play and for its unfun to play against them all the time its stupid billy use chainsaw way close to survivor without any debuff nurse have omegablink you cannot escape from her so i hope they do something not making it a huge nerf but a small nerf its not going to kill them

Killing a bad survivor is not too hard you know. I suggest you to play yourself as the M1 killer 😉. Because playing killer is not that ez like holding M1 on gens.

Hiding is easy with good perks like urban evasion or premonition etc few others.Killer can go away if you lose him in chase not hard in corn.But honestly try other perks like dh sc sprint adrenalin or what now ppl use.

How that can be easy with perks like empathy premonition and for example alert and urban evasion you know wher is killer most of the time.I know becose im bad in loop and run before killer.Also as surv you got tpp camera do yo.u see much more then killer.

The nerf is mostly so he's less annoying (Wich is stupid but whatever), it won't fix the DC tho, now that survivor got so used to do it when stuff isn't going how they like tho.
As for Billy he's fine, if anything he's fair unless you use instant chainsaw wich is bullshit ( Just like Frank's mixtape, but whatever right? Legion man bad)

Also they never M1? If you believe you can land the chainsaw, I see no reason to not try. Open fields and survivor predictability.
If the survivors play smart, I can guarantee, the Billy will be forced into using his M1.

tldr:
Legion was nerved because some of his powers could be misused to make the game extremely unfun.
From my point of view it is wrong to say that Hillbilly is balanced as long as his power can in similar ways be misused.

Some Hillbilly players are able to stand and wait just far enough away from the hook to not get any punishment by the reworked emblem system.
As soon as a player attempts to rescue the teammate on the hook the chainsaw is charged up and with experience hits either the unhooked or the survivor trying to rescue just at the very moment the unhooking animation ends.
A similar technique can often be observed at the basement stairs.
Hillbilly waits for a survivor to go down and then charges down the stairs just at the very moment the survivors are attempting to leave the basement.

Hillbilly players are simply able to wait at a distance, charge, down & repeat.
Do you consider this is a balanced and fair use of a killers power?
