I think Killers should have to hit a medium difficulty skill check to close hatch

I think they should have to hit a skill check slightly bigger than a decisive one to close hatch and if they fail that skillcheck they either can’t close it or they have to wait a set time to be able to close it. Thoughts?

    But why?

    What would be different?

Let the killer close the hatch and end the hatch standoff and give a 50/50 chance to get to a exit gate and power it.

This way it is faster to end the game.

    i like this idea!!!

killer needs skill check to close the hatch and if not it stays open and makes audio sound. if closes then survivors can open it with a skill check and if it doesnt, then it stays closed and speeds up the timer

When I want skill checks, I play survivor.

Killerd should complete a sudoku puzzle as the skill check for closing the hatch

A skill check should always be attached to game benefit.

Every skill check you do as a survivor gives you some advantage to progress in your task.

More gen repair, more healing ect by closing the hatch the killer just alters the game and not gain an advantage. Hitting that skill check would result in a zero sum play, even negative, so why bother?

    Think as a game dev.

Why implement a skill check that does nothing but using up recourses?

There is no gain only pain and waste of time/money.

Killers should get skillchecks on hooking and breaking tbh.

No. Skillchecks are survivors' problems, not killer's

Darn, I was not skillfull enough to close a door.

Honestly, I thought it would be neat if a survivor could reopen a hatch only after it's been closed by the killer, but it's takes a hot second to open similar to the door, maybe shorter but you couldn't keep the opening progress. This way the killer won't just go back and forth between two doors and will have a third exit to check on.

    Probably a bad idea tho

I think survivors should have die on the first hook. Bruh

No, we got the hatch to be able to be closed and survivors are rewarded exits being able to be opened

Survivor should get a difficult skill check to jump down the hatch, or else they bang their head and close the hatch themselves.

Why would that be.. cause those killer fingers are too big and they all clumsy and #########?

Mr Trapper got too big of thumbs to handle anything small and delicate like the hatch.

If i missed the skill check do survivors get a notification that i messed up just like a killer would get a notification thus giving them the location of me and the hatch

    Probably some troll bait...

But no. The hatch has been survivor sided for over 2 years now. You guys should just get 1 gate that powers up when the hatch is closed honestly.

And I hope bitter murmur works with it, so I can just see where the tryhard trash/undeserving survivor is....

it wasn’t troll bait just had an idea but i can clearly see everyone disagrees so nvm on this idea
