so how do i get merciless killer?
With these current changes, it used to be if you get 4k you get merciless killer.
Ive just had a game where i got 4k. they completed no gens, i ended every chase quickly. Yet, just ruthless killer. Really? Am i being punished for playing good/enemies being bad?

man.... how does that sound fun to the devs? cause either i get rolld on by swf, or i end the game quick. there really isnt a middle ground anymore.

I have no clue this game is kinda confusing. They want you to kill them but they also want you to make you follow them around just a little bit longer so that you get more points I don't get it

I don't care what the conditions for piping are, I enjoy to kill them all. Sometimes it takes a long tme, sometimes I kill them quickly (sometimes they escape, can't win them all). I like to kill them, so that is what I do.

Wait till rank reset. Seriously, gatekeeper is impossible to get at higher ranks and the lower ranks have better pip conditions for adept.

To get merciless killer you will need to protect as many gens as possible during the first 9mins of the game. This time is weighted heavier than any other time spent in the trial. You will also need to get 9+ hooks during the trial. That breaks down to 3 hooks per survivor for the first 3 survivors you kill and then you need to kill the 4th as well. You also need to have decently lengthy chases that result in you hitting and downing or them ultimately getting away and healing the damage. This will get you merciless, but it means you have to draw the game out and hope survivors play in a way that makes them save their teammates.
It used to be easier for everyone, but there were a lot of complaints of unskilled players getting to high ranks so now we have this which is not the best solution, but it helps to somewhat gatekeep players who can't or won't play to the scoring system's rules.
