Biggest Bug of DBD but no one cares about cause everyone thinks its a rage quit?
I'm wondering if this is addressed because I here absolutly nothing about it - I'm talking about random disconnects. Nearly every 2nd game I play suddenly I get kicked out to the end screen. For me it looks like the KILLLER has quit, so all survivours have the door sign as if they escaped and the killer has the disconnect icon. But i play SWF and i know I'm the only one kicked.
I see so many streamers/youtubers complaining about rage quits and 3v1 or 2v1 games - but i swear most of the times its because of this unadressed bug!
And this is not the bug where only 3 load in initially, all my games start with 4 players and then the disconnects come in!

In one of the post linked, a dev says they are looking into the issue. Hopefully it will be fixed after the mid-chapter update.

I yesterday played a lot games ~ 25 in 4 man SWF. We count the times I or someone from the team got a disconnect bug which might be interpreted as a rage quit.
we had 17 disconnects (!)
NO RAGE QUIT
2 while working on a gen
1 while sneaking over the map, searching a gen
1 while running to an open exit door, killer not in range, not chasing me
MIGHT BE INTERPRETED AS RAGE QUIT
4 while on hook
6 during a chase (5 times after the disconnect the killer downed the disconnected person before the disconnect was registerd. After a disconnect the disconnected persons character remains in the game for some seconds moving in the same direction or standing still - so the killer downs him and then the game registeres the disconnect)
2 during the killer carried me to the hook
1 after the killer downed a survivour killer kicked a gen and then wanted to pick the survivour. The disconnect was before picking the survivour but killer brought him to a hook and then the disconnect counts...

@Peanits has stated that they're trying to fix the DC issue with the implementation of Dedicated Servers. They can't fix it straight away, but have been working on it over time, as it's difficult to solve an issue you don't know is causing the problem.

I am aware of this as well, I found out what causes it the most, the person who got disconnected's internet, I tested this when it happened too much, I tested 2 different internet types, cause my internet has 2.4 and 5, I tested 5 and disconnected 3/5 matches, 2.4 I disconnected 0/5 matches

@Chaotic_Riddle thats a thing I can not understand because the problem is there only since the plague update, so why is this hard to discover? Just remove the plague update, thats on killer less and one survivour less but we can play the game again without this bug,... (I know thats not a solution - but - a better one then doing nothing maybe...)
@Hoodedfengm1n I'm connected via LAN cable, as 2 other friends if mine, the 3rd one is with 2.4G

@katermietze From what I learned, the more people connected to the same internet, the more likely this is to happen, and 2.4 is why the 3rd one is disconnecting most likely

what you mean with connecting to the same internet? we all 4 live in different houses and different towns - we all use our internet exclusiv and not sharing it with someone else
