Gen Tapping SOLUTION
After a gen is kicked, make it require a CONSIDERABLY HARD skill check to continue regular progress. If the skill check is failed, it continues regressing. This is long overdue. Killer can kick a gen, and one millisecond it's back progressing because survivor tapped it.

I think the perk your looking for is overcharge.

yeah i agree with spaulding, just use overcharge. It isnt a licensed killer either, so it should be easier to get.

No you shouldn't be able to just tap a broken gen to stop the regression. Make Overcharge base line then

If they made one perk baseline for killers, just imagine what they would have to do for solo survivors. This is simply a finger pointing contest saying whats op. Just run the perk or don't. Half the time I don't even kick gens. Just plan out a three gen strat if you're having that much difficulty keeping gens up.

Plain and simple we need a solution for gen tapping. You shouldn't just be able to tap the gen. They even do it in chases.

It's not even that bad. Gens take 80 seconds to complete, which needs a longer timer IMO. Tapping would cause that to be roughly...120 seconds? It takes a lot longer than you think. If you're getting looped that bad where they can tap the gen as you're chasing them, you need to loop better. Moonwalk or something. People only do this cause they know they can loop you for ages.

I'd rather they add a perk the regresses the gen by a base percentage after a kick. I know there's pgtw. I'd like to see a non situational one though.

I'm not talking about constantly tapping it until completion. I'm talking about tapping it one time just to stop regression.

Nah

Maybe instead of a skill check just make it so they have to be on longer to stop it from regressing, like 2-3 seconds.

This was always the thought I had. Not sure it's necessary, but I wouldn't mind seeing it implemented.

Hmm yes 3 secs is good

just make it, so a survivor has to stay on a gen for 1 seconds for the regression to stop.
