Why do people use cheats/best way to report them?

So I won't link their Steam Profile as I didn't have any recording software so I don't have evidence however they were blatantly using a lag switch.

Basically if anyone has in the past why do people hack? Whats the joy in it, this guy is doing it at rank 1 so how is it any fun to get to the top using a lag switch.

Secondly do reporting them through the ingame report system actually do anything?

    First you'd have to have proof they were using a lag switch. I have a friend who has internet so bad she's been accused of using a lag switch. Bad connection vs lag switch may be tricksy to prove.

    Something like flying around or spawning multiple items you'd just take screen shots then post on the forums asking w here to send your emails.
