How much do you play Survivor?
I'm just curious how much the people browsing the killer forum actually play the other side, since there is a lot of animosity between killers and survivors which, while thematic, is probably not the best for players' enjoyment of the game.
I, myself, play survivor about 60% of my total time, though in the past few months I've trended to it being about 40-45% of the time, with killer the other 55-60%

I'm sure you've noticed I look at thing from a neutral point of view, but I actually play 70% killer lol. Survivor is boring and needs updating to be more fun and intense.

When I cant get a Killer match I'll run Survivor.
Killer queues are so borked mostly I'll just give up and run Survivor.
Usually I'll be sitting there for half an hour + tabbing in and out to see if the match building in players on Killer lobby where on Survivor I'll instantly get matches as soon as I select them.
Seems as there's 5 players per match and only 1 slot for Killer that's 5 people effectively competing for 1 spot so its harder to get Killer matches.
80% of my time is spent looking for Killer matches.
10% of my time is spent playing Killer matches
10% of my time is spent playing Survivor matches.

I play survivor 100% of the time simply because my upload speed doesn't let me host games. I played my first matches as killer in the PTB, and although I couldn't even swing/lunge/hit survivors properly and got bullied in 80% of the matches, I still enjoyed it. Perhaps with the exception of one swf match in which the 4 survivors had flashlights and spent the whole match clicking m2 to ######### and bully me. That match made me want a perk that instantly mori all survivors if the game detects it's a swf group with purple flashlights.

I play both sides. Maybe a 65/35% survivor main.

99.99% killer. Toxic survivors from day one made me never want to associate with that side at all. Only time I played survivor was because my friend who never seen the game pushed for it.

I go in spurts between sides. Today was a survivor day (an extremely frustrating one at that). If I had to guess I'd say it's probably 60/40 survivor.

I play survivor 70/30, mostly because I have an IRL friend who plays and we like to spend Friday nights chilling and playing a bit. I usually only play killer as break from survivor/to do dailies etc and can only play for a few hours max as killer (longest was one entire weekend), I still can't find the drive to play killer competitively I got to rank 5, got toxicity through the roof and OP perk builds, questioned life then went back to playing survivor. It's much more chill sometimes, don't know how killer mains play 90% of the time as killer. (To be fair playing survivor can be just as annoying lately)
I guess I just don't see the point in playing killer if it's not fun. It's honestly why I avoid toxic survivor perk builds when I play as survivor (Hence not using DS,MoM,DH etc, not using SC is a personal challenge I haven't looked back I love med kits/adapting now) and haven't touched a flashlight in centuries (I've only used fireworks 1-2 times and felt immediately bad but only use them on tunnelers etc)

In around 1800 hours I've played around 10 matches as survivor.
This is due to the Hallowed Blight and being forced to in order to get the most out of the event.
I don't enjoy relying on others to accomplish a goal, especially when they can actively screw you over by accident or on purpose.
If I lose as a killer it's either because the survivors were better or I made many mistakes. Either way it's all on me and my own skill which is much more enjoyable for me.

I play killer about 60% of the time. I thoroughly enjoy both for different reasons. Killer at high ranks pose different challenges then survivor at the same rank. As a killer you have to multitask and manage different things whilst punishing survivor mistakes. While as a survivor its up to you to not make said mistakes and to manage your linear tasks in a efficient order.

An excessive amount. Probably 80% of my 2,500 hours is Survivor and a lot of those hours are recent.
Yes, I want to claw my eyes out sometimes and no, I'm not going to stop.

Very rarely, earlier i was survivor main, but i finally understand, that killer is power role in this game, but sometimes i still play with friends.

I play both sides, more survivor than killer but I like/get frustrated with both sides. Playing both sides has taught me a few tricks, from observing what survivors do to counter my killer, and vice versa. I've only been playing this for a month and have a LOT to learn still, but playing both sides definitely helps.

Since a few months ago, i stopped playing that side altogether.

I play 60/70% killer

survivor is really my strong suit but whenever i have a daily ritual or feel like something different ill bust out the dwight
2 -
I do the Survivor Dailies... does that count?

I play 50/50 killer is my strong suit though easier for me don't have to rely on teamates ss

Depends on what I feel like that day. Some days I DREAD playing killer so I won’t even touch it. Some days I really don’t want to play with boosted teammates.
I’d say about 65% of my hours on DBD have been survivor though. I am a way better survivor than killer. Survivor is definitely my strong suit.

When my friends are on or there is a problem with killer ques I play survivor. Some times I wanna relax and I'll play a survivor game or two, but for the most part I play killer.

I play survivor when I have rituals or if killer gets really (and I mean REEEEEEEEAAAAALLLYYYY) bored of killer. I hate random teammates.
0 -
I play 50/50.
But now after the recent update it's gonna be 100% survivor bro.

I play both evenly i would say, but i do prefer Killer, or rather, i prefered because i liked the fast paced gameplay of old legion.

I played Killer. I'd tried survivor, but found it lackluster. Without a SWF group, the teamwork in here was basically nonexistent. To be honest, for my teamwork based gaming, I'll stick with Overwatch. As bad as it is in random-queue, it still beats solo-survivor here.

I play survivor maybe 55% of the time.
0 -
am 25% survivor. I can't be bothered with survivor most times, its not exactly a fun experience with solo, bad teammates, or hearing that damn chainsaw from billy for the 100th time.

75-25 Survivor-Killer ratio.
I'd love to play more killer but I am too easily stressed out and frustrated, so eh.
2 -
I find Killer unfun in the current state of things/at my skill level. Stressful and not worth it. So I only play Survivor.

65% Killer
35% Survivor

90% killer/10% Survivor, when i actually play. Survivor can be fun sometimes, but it needs something more to be even more enjoyable aside from being braindead easy. Some kind of way to reward stealthy play would do it for me; i have entire games where the Killer never sees me because i was doing gens and totems all ninja-like and i get punisher for it. I hate being punished for not failing.

Very little. The killer's life is for me!

I'm probably about 50/50. I've been a red rank killer & a purple rank survivor--I like the feeling of acheivement that comes with good survivor plays, but killer is less stressful & a good way to get bloodpoints.

Due to my very ineffective way of leveling characters up by only using bloodpoints gained on them, I've been playing Survivor a lot lately. However, most of them (Dwight, Meg, Claudette, Ace and Min being the only exceptions) are still around level 11 or 15, while only two of my Killers (Philip and Adiris) are under level 20 (with Evan, Max, Michael, Herman, Anna, Leatherface, Kenneth, and Amanda all either at or above 30).
Don't know how to correlate that into percentages, but there you go.

When I stream with friends, so once a week. I don't play the game often though, just because I can't find much time during the day
0 -
About half and half, I guess? In the past week I mostly only played survivor.. and then on Thursday I got Spirit, and barely played survivor all weekend, I'm having so much fun ;)
I mostly play survivor with friends though, barely ever on my own. If I have no one to play with I'll do killer, if I have enough friends online for a group of 3 or 4, I'll go for that. It's nice having people to talk to when doing objectives and just dicking around. As killer, I don't want to voice chat with anyone, I learned to use the sound cues so much using Rin that even in kill your friends, I don't like having the voice chat on because then I can't pay attention to survivors making noise if people are talking.

@se05239 I have the opposite problem to you it would seem. Survivor just depresses me these days, used to be 70% Survivor 30% Killer, now more like 80% KIller, 20% Survivor due to stress.
1 -
i used to mostly play killer. but atm I'm actually a Jeff main. Till the game's balancing gets worked out, and bugs are fixed.
0 -
well killer is legitimately bugged to hell and survivor feels like ######### with the amount of potatos that get carried by the occasional good player so it kinda makes me not bother playing the game anymore.
Sorry not sorry, but the game needs serious work and im kinda tired of hoping it'll get better.

survivor 80\20
just playing duo with friend
0 -
I never play Solo, only play when I get into a SWF. Kinda tired of potato teammates so I stick to Killer, pissing people off by playing good as a Killer is a lot more fun.

Lately i've been playing more surv.
80 % Huntress
20 % surv

I would say 50/50.
