You're only in danger in open areas. So stay around loops and windows. He can only M1 you there.

Seriously? Just loop about anything, abuse windows etc.

Also do not try to enter the basement against Bubba, ever. As a general rule try to be as far away as possible at all times.

Using Leatherface's chainsaw is easily just as difficult (or easy?) as Hillbilly's chainsaw. I main(ed) both of them to the point of absolute perfection. Leatherface requires more environmental awareness (as he can hit objects that aren't even inside the screen) to avoid the long stun whereas Hillbilly requires more anticipation as he works more like a bullet.

Countering Hillbilly and Leatherface is pretty similar. Stick close to windows and pallets and you're fine for the most part and (obviously) make sure you get fast vaults. Those two core elements basically disable Leatherface's chainsaw (unless it's me due to my build).

LF is one of the weakest Killers and the easiest to loop.

He counter himself if he uses the chainsaw out in the open.

What you should do is always staying near safe spots or hugging walls and try to bait him into bumping into them if he tries to chainsaw you, otherwise he's just a normal M1 killer.

Leatherface (many refer to him as "Bubba", and so will i) is currently the 3rd worst killer in the game.

His strength lies in defending a hooked survivor, as his chainsaw attack can mow down multiple survivors at once, therefore it is rather slow and he can hardly use it during a chase.

Bubba is also really lacking in map pressure. he has a normal heartbeat radius, a tall playmodel and is only able to move at basic killer movement speed, which makes it hard for him to travel the map efficiently and fight generator progress, which leads to him getting genrushed a lot. also, his chases take way too long, as he is mostly only able to M1 attack you. his chainsaw finds no use during a chase, as it takes way too long to charge up and also tremendously slows down bubba during the charge, making it pretty much impossible to catch a survivor with a window or a pallet nearby. therefore his chainsaw can only be put to use when he is eigther defending a hook, as the survivors would have to stand still and perform an action or when he catches a survivor in the open field.

try following these tips and you will have a better experience against bubbas:

    1) avoid open areas. always have a window / pallet nearby. lockers can also work to avoid a chainsaw attack, but you will end up getting hit or even pulled out.

    2) do not, NEVER, go for a basement save when you dont know where bubba is. also, when he is close enough to walk back there, do NOT go down there. it means certain death.

    3) do not try to get a hook save in general with bubba nearby.

    4) waste as much of his time during a chase as possible. loop him around windows, pallets, whatever. just try to buy as much time as you can for your team to rush gens.

    5) when bubba does end up getting close and charging his chainsaw, run around a tree or something similar and hug it as much as you can. IF bubba accidentally hits the obstacle, that will buy you enough time to get to a safer location.

here you go, i hope this can help you in the future ^^

have a nice day and i will see you in the fog!

If you see 'm heading towards you from the distance, or hear 'm run away to a loop. Don't run into an open area. Learn how to spot pallets and how to loop.

Don't drop the pallet if he chainsaws at it, just keep looping, he can't catch up with his chainsaw if he lets it go on the loop, if you are hugging the loop properly.

Whatever you do, avoid going down near a basement. If you go down near a basement and he takes you there, depending on your teammates, the game is over. Generally being in the basement against a Leatherface means you are dead. Just gotta waste his time by not trying to jump of the hook (unless you have DS and Deliverance) and struggle until the last minute. Most Leatherfaces will proxy camp the basement, so if your teammate unhooks you you are both very likely to get downed.

If you don't see any sign of Leatherface leaving the basement area, they are likely there. Do gens. This requires a bit of game sense and situational awareness though.

Overall though, it just boils down to getting better at the game. The better you get as survivor, the easier it will be to face all kinds of killers.

    I hope this helps! ^^
