Survivor is way more fun and way less stressful than killer.
Title - I've been playing killer for as long as I can remember, yet even though killers do get buffs it's outcast by the nerfs, looking at you Freddy, Legion. It just seems to be as time goes on killer becomes less fun and survivor becomes more fun and less stressful. Perks like MoM and DS until not that long ago but it's still strong exist. The devs would rather killers be "fun" than viable but if A killer is viable, they're more likely to be fun because they can do well. So many killers could be better, Plague, Freddy, Wraith etc I could go on. It's come to the point where I was a fully pledged killer player I loved it, to not playing killer at all. Maybe once or twice for a ritual but I'd rather play survivor. That's the way I see it. Maybe if killers got more love I'd go back to playing it

But it is indeed far far less stressful. in fact it's that stress that keeps me from playing at times. I'm just like "Why? I can smoke a bowl and write, or watch something scary. Why stress myself out? Why worry if that window I Bammed will actually be blocked for the survivor. Why worry that while I'm chasing one person, three people are pushing three different gens that only take 2 mins to finish."
Also don't forget the Plagues nerf. The ONLY purpose of making her slower while holding vomit was because they thought she would have above a 50% kill rate. (which doesn't take into account rank.....)

Killers nerfed whilst survivors buffed, I'm going to play survivor more frequently and not play killer at all, until killers actually get buffed, plague, freddy etc

That's due to aurcivir being able to have down time when on a gen and someone else is in a chase where as with killer you are always under pressure to find, chase, down and hook.

Killer main who plays 5x more survivor than killer checking in.
Games are more stressful than fun, and there's no real incentive to grind when it takes literally millions of bp to get decent perks, much less perks for fun builds to try (which you are usually punished for anyway)
