If the ghostface is licensed, why doesn't he have the classic black robe?

Yeah, it's just a matter of taste, but it was a little disappointing for me. He would be scarier with the classic looks.

    They probably only got the license for the mask. Ghostface is a weird one, his license is split into two, the costume has its own license, the character has a different license. That's why they changed the mask on the show

    I find the costume very similar, the main difference are the flaps on the sleeves. Considering it was leaked way before its release, it's possible it's not finished yet.

    YES WE NEED THE CLASSIC BLACK ROBE. To be honest the leaked cosmetics for him are trash.

    Maybe the license holders didn't want to do that?

    I can't look in their minds, but the devs can't do anything to the character aesthetically without their "okay".

    What @LCGaster said. the rights to the mask and the rights to the character/robe/costume as well as the film are held by different people. It was a big part on why the MTV Tv series had to use their own masks.

    I saw an image showing the gray robe, which seemed to be the default robe, is actually a cosmetic in the store like all the others we saw, so it is possible the default is indeed the classic black robe. Regardless, we haven't seen what the default robe is. Surely they can add it if it isn't in yet, or at the very least, add a black version of the robe we did see..it can't be that hard. Another thing i noticed, they got his boots right, so there's that.

    the original isnt bad, the cosmetics are another story, but the base one is pretty good and creepy.

    I do hope the image we got was unfinished, it's kind of meh, the extra cosmetics that go with it are bleh, they look like cheap knock offs you'd find at Walmart.

    I also have opinions on his power but this is still the Mid-chapter for 11 so I'll wait until this is actually ready to be talked about. I will say that there were tons of really good ideas out there, no I'm not talking about the phone ability.

    Maybe they have the license to use certain things and use certain designs. The devs normally go for classic iconic look so if they don't get it, prob can't get it. The model they have looks amazing, I don't like ghostface but I'll play it.
