Apparently people are mad about Ghostface?
I've heard somethings about people being mad about Ghostface entering the game but when i look around the only negativity i see is directed towards the developers for sucking a keeping secrets? could someone please clarify.

I've heard some buzz in negative ways. Who cares though? People suck in general.
I'm just happy to get him in the game. I don't really care. I'm actually excited for this. I was born in the 80s, and grew up with the Scream movies hitting hard. This is going to be cool.
Anyone under the age of 20 won't get it probably. Like most things in the world.

i agree about the excitement thing but in my opinion scream is to omnipresent in pop-culture not to be known by everyone under 20 with a connection to society.

Ash is from the 80's too but his shows kept him relevant. I like that this game is bringing classic killers.

People don't get him because they are young. That is my point. Just because they don't get him doesn't mean he sucks or shouldn't be in the game. He'll fit perfectly in this game.

Scream is just as iconic as Leatherface I'd say, but not quite well known as Freddy.
Some people are acting like they are bringing in someone like Pumpkinhead... now that would be underwhelming. I would love it lol
But it wouldn't quite fit, and now everyone knows that movie. That I would understand. I would understand the crychildren and their crying.

No clue. i like ghostface. looks good, power looks good.
That perk he has is going to be interesting for some killers. (Jump scare clown will be coming to town)
People have been harassing the mask copyright holder. Not sure why.
I've heard some people saying he looks generic like the t.v. show and i'm like "did you even see the t.v. show?" they couldn't get rights to the mask, and it looked like a melted mask banged someone with down syndrome without a condom. But we got the real mask.

As someone who is clueless in regards to horror and is also under 18. I recognized Ghostface on sight (didn't know the name though). So I'd say that's sufficiently well known to be in a game like this.

I couldn't care less about a killer than I do about Ghostface honestly. It's just Legion with Shapes power. He doesn't seem any bit interesting and the one perk we've seen is just plain bad. I'm glad some people are excited, I just don't care much myself.

except it is an original killer wearing the ghost face mask, it isn't a scream chapter, there are 2 license holders one for the mask one for the movies, if they had both licenses then he would be wearing the full costume from the movies and wouldn't have more than maybe 1 cosmetic but he has multiple ones....99 percent sure they got the license to use the mask on a killer but not he license to use aspects from the movies like ghost face costume/robe, survivors or maps :(

which is gonna backfire if they don't clarify that its not a "scream" chapter but just an original killer wearing the ghost face mask, if it was a scream licensed killer he would have the whole costume, it looks like they got the rights to the mask but weren't able to obtain the completely separate license for the movie aspect of it, there are 2 license holders one holds licenses for the movie one holds licenses for the mask :(

It will depend on the killer's power. The killer seems too similar to Legion in concept. I'm definitely not excited about the killer, but I'm not angry either. When I hear more about the killer's powers and perks I'll form an opinion.

This is my opinion but although I would never go and hate the devs or anyone else I don't particularly care for licensed killers that much I much rather enjoy when they do original killers/survivors but I know a lot of people prefer licensed killers more power to them my biggest bone to pick right now with Ghostface this opinion of mine could change but from looking at the power in his current stage it looks like he is just a scuffed version of myers :/

He's not even out yet. And they complain about this killer getting added lol. We don't even know what perks he's going to have. the ones that complain about a killer that's far from getting added just stop and grow up plan and simple.

there is a totally different license rights holder for the movie franchise than for the mask, they for sure got the mask license but most likely did not get movie license cuz if they did then ghostface woulda looked like he didnt in the movies instead of like an assassin creed knock off :( :( :( either way i am actually excited for him, i am a mikey main and would love another stalker killer. But yea sydney is most likely not gonna be in the game sorry.

I mean, I'm disappointed as the power seems lame and I don't like the design, but mad? Nah.
The one perk we've seen though...that's interesting. Looking forward to seeing the other 5.
