Will you buy the new killer?
So I'm curious if you plan on buying the new killer.
I bought all DLCs until Freddy. Haven't spent anything since then.
Now what do you think about spending, after the Legion and Pig nerfs went live?
Do you think the new killer will be butchered soon after release?

i will buy the dlc hes awesome and i like hes power now i want also to see the gameplay maybe he will be a middle tier so we need to know if hes weak or powerful (for me hes good balanced when i saw the leak) now hype for the new perks i hope they have good perks on killer and survivor

Having Ghostface in DBD is the dream so yeah sure why not. I like his power tho

I think scream is bonkers overrated and he looks like he'll be a strictly better michael (Michael fan boy) so I'm a bit salty tbh

He doesn't sound like the strongest killer but I do like stealth killers so it's hard to say. I'll have to see him in action. Could care less about the franchise though. Scream always seemed stupid to me.

He looks cool and his perk looks like it will be so much fun.
I buy every chapter and it doesn't cost that much so may as well. Although I have 42000 shared so I'll probably get him that way.

Yes, ive bought every dlc so far and dont see any reason not to buy this one. Hopefully it comes with a survivor, if not hey ho i'll still probably buy it.

I love a stealth killer, they bring a lot of laughs and spooks to the game. can't wait to peek behind walls against my friends.

Since I'm pretty sure that if they don't nerf him pre-release, they'll probably do so after the PTB. I will not buy that DLC until I'm absolutely sure they won't gut him within the first couple of weeks if not days.

Absolutely not. Not only they are working around a similar power like michael instead of working a new one from scratch but also he will be nerfed sooner or later like every killer.

Depends on if he's fun to play and if he's not, if his perks are interesting.
Used to love Ghostface as a kid but now, not so much, i get a good laugh out of the movies because they're pretty dumb, so i guess it makes up for it.

I like the design so that's a positive but looking at his power it could either be good or bad depending on the gauges and stuns, I'll have to wait till PTB and if they change him, release too to see how he plays.
That said If I do buy him it'll be at least 2 weeks after he's released in case he gets nerfed.

And that's fair. Opinions will always vary. I'm solidly in the opposite camp, and am deciding by this evening whether or not I will uninstall the game. I already know that I'm unlikely to log into it again any time soon. And it has nothing to do with Legion or Pig, for example, as I played neither of them. But a myriad of issues and reasons.
And I don't hate or dislike the game, either. That's the kicker. But I find myself far more frustrated than having fun, in something that is supposed to be entertainment value.

Haha, I look at this more like unsure of legion changes, hello new jumpscare main (totally going myers/ghostface main 90% when it comes out if the power is smooth, I love playing the stealth killers)
In response to OP though, I've purchased all of the licensed DLC so far and honestly afraid for the freddy changes as I play him well now, bubba still needs buffs seriously but it will probably be a century before we see that. Pig is a little underwhelming after a while (fun in small amounts) personally, and mikey is a main for me so... I'd watch some people test play it first on PTB etc. I'm a little cautious to just jump on the bandwagon just bc it's a new killer anymore I mean after plague and legion and killer changes out of nowhere just because they "aren't fun to play against"... looking at all of that, licensed may be a little different but still concerned. Definitely watch before buy.

Definitely getting this DLC, but really on the fence about the power. It's like Pigs stealth with Michael's stalk. Makes me feel like it's not only recycling, it's making the other two lose some of their uniqueness. Might end up being awesome, but I'm not 100% sold just yet.

Buy? Hell no. I have enough shards built up for the next 3 releases. I stopped giving these guys money long ago after the shitshow the latest 5 or 6 patches have been.

Hell no. I’m not going to spend even a penny on this crappy game, until they fix the bugs. No footstep sounds at all? Are you freakin’ kidding? Both the devs and QA must be absolutely deaf in order for this to have gone out. Pitiful

I'm to worried to buy, because of how the devs behaved in the past.
I really like playing with Mike, and love stealth killers. But the devs keep overreacting when survivors complain.

I've bought every DLC so far and I'm also going to buy this one. With all the problems we currently have, I still love this game.

I probably will. I've gotten mileage out of all of the DLC as I spent time playing as Hag, Clown, Myers, Legion, Pig, and Spirit for Killers. I bought Leatherface more for his perks, hate the game play on either side of it. Plague is one I haven't used much of though, same with Freddy... though I used Quinton for awhile.
Ghost sounds kind of fun with the peeking. You can watch your waifus and husbandos fix gens.
