Take Away Clauds Brown Clothes
Having a survivor be basically invisible on certain areas of map is #########.
Why hasn't this been addressed in the last 2 years?

Because you can't just "Take Away Clothes."
They know of this issue, why do you think 90% of her DLC Cosmetics are white and bright colored.

They are located as a. Tar file. Replace the file with new non invisible clothing.

Yet no one complains about a P3 Adam, it's always Claudette.
Just adjust man, all killers go through this. She's not invisible, difficult to see, but not invisible.

P3 Adam is not a problem. Claudette however is. P3 or her brown or even her new black clothes are sometimes very hard to see.

I'm not sure that would help much. Her skin tone underneath those cloths will still blend in pretty well, unless she's wearing some colorful undergarments. Still, I will support this plan 100%.

No one complains about Adam because Adam has a big model with tall hair and a flowing white coat, even if it is bloody.
Claudette is small and her clothes are dark and washed out that blend into the map. Every survivor has something in their basic gear that makes them stick out, except Claudette.

Because first Claudette, then you'll have a P3 Tap being the problem, then a P3 Meg and then more killers will have more issues.
You remove one and then you'll start removing more.

There have been thousands of fix claudette threads, there's been less than 10 (I've never seen any and searches bring up 9) request to fix other models.
You are dead-ass wrong on every argument; just stop.
Claudette with her earth-brown clothing is an issue. It needs to be fixed.

That’s literally not true and a bit like declaring the sky will fall.
P3 Tapp still has bright blue in his outfit.
P3 Meg - red hair, purple pants
etc.
Literally the only one people take issue with is Claudette.
You could say Quentin would be next but people have to buy him and he’s still pasty white with a light grey cap and REALLY loud groans.

Honestly they could just buff the saturation by about 20% on all areas of her clothes in photoshop (excluding blood textures, by overlaying them on top with an invisible layer) and it would probably fix the issue by a large margin.
personally i don't have an issue with claudette being so dark, but at the same time i can understand why people miss her. its why despite her being my main i refuse to use p3 clothes and bought an outfit specifically for her so i could be less toxic

I read that lowering your graphics helps. This is an issue with many clothes and characters, you can't just ask them to delete black people and dark clothes from the game. Well, you can, but it's not likely to happen, just like because you find it hard to track people on the corn fields they're not going to delete Coldwind farm.

You are comparing a unique individual case (Claudette) versus an ability EVERYONE HAS (hiding in cornfields).
Claudette being damn near invisible is not OK.

Her clothes are fine. I can see her and if you take her away Quintin and Jake will take over, they can blend pretty well if they’re P3.

By this logic, lets also give michael at least a 12-16 meter terror radius with red stain in tier one.
And you cant claim that its a problem that "everybody" agrees on as you cant speak for everybody. I dont agree at all. I kill claudettes just like i kill any other survivor. Just practice more i guess.

ugh...she does have some bright clothes as i said on another post....if you can't find her, if in doubt check the grass of corners...i really have had no problem as a killer finding claudettes who wear dark clothing....just maybe listen out, take a second glance and watch the scenery around you with crows etc

Are you seriously comparing Claudette to Michael?
Michael is a killer who thrives on stealth. It’s totally okay for him. Claudette is the only survivor with no tells. And for the record NO Claudette is not made for stealth - that’s arguably Nea. Claudette’s class archetype is clearly supposed to be healer.

This thread made me laugh because it reminds me of a friend of mine who plays the ultimate immersed Claudette. All dark brown cosmetic. Urban evasion, Iron Will, Calm Spirit etc.

i do sometimes use the dark cosmetics but i like to mix it up....also when i play this game when i have had a lil wine (coughs) or a lot...i get the bright colours out.....use perks i rarely use and just have fun

It's not an issue with all the darker skinned characters, just Claudette. Tapp and Adam are both fine; they have enough contrast on their outfits that it's not an issue. P3 and brown clothes Claudette is nearly invisible on some maps, and it's a massive advantage that shouldn't be limited to a single survivor like that.

Any survivor tbh. Every survivor has something that shows an observant killer they’re there and that’s how it should be.
Yet Claudette is the only survivor that doesn’t have this, giving her not only an unfair advantage but unfortunately opening her up to racist insinuations.

On God Claudette's breathing is pretty loud, I agree that her clothes may benefit from a slight change however I can't say that I personally care that much. Stridor may help you in this situation but what I think the devs should do is just increase the game's saturation, the game is crazy dark at the minute and I understand that it's meant to be scary but I'd say the concept of this game is more to apply pressure and stress to the people playing it, not fear so why not make everything a bit brighter?

Well you can always catch an immersive claudette either froggy hopping to or away from a gen or to get someone from a hook. I don't like to return to a hook most of the time but if I do, it's to get those mole people when I'm too lazy to care about looking properly.

Nah. It just came to mind after reading everyone go back and forth in this thread. I like her, but I hardly use her. As a killer, I don't mind her as my TV is HD and bright so I don't have trouble seeing her if she's hiding.

It is no ######### a valid strategy for a Claudette to just press control mid chase to disappear. It would not be a such a big problem is the audio was not constantly broken. But i very much agree with removing her brown/grey clothes, and possibly give a shard compensation to the ones that bought them.

Yeah, whats the issue? As if adding some bright spots would take multiple hundred hours of dedicated work for the devs. It would be a matter of 1 hour at best, probably even less. I could do that for them.

This doesn't mean people use bright colour cosmetics. Majority is using p3 or those extra brown green cosmetics.

Are you actually defending selling advantages in the in-game store? If there is even a slight doubt as to if a cosmetic grants an advantage, it should not be in the store, period.

You do realize there's other survivors that are stealthier than her on other maps, right? Even if you took away the brown, she still has blue and green, which are more useful in other maps than brown is. lol
