Survs are 99% gates to prevent endgame
Like the title says ive played against and with survs who 99% gates and make sure there teammates or friends are at and around gate before triggering endgame which to me doesn't seem like endgame should be like this is should have urgency and to make tough choices like endgame deserves which i think endgame should trigger when the last gen is popped instead of open the gate any better ideas put it down below

It was also made to give the actual endgame some tension but I'll agree that there's no need for a counter when you can already open the door

Why don't we talk about how killers can open the gates by tapping it once?
Whereas survivors have to wait for 20 seconds?
Open it yourself.

Or make them have to interact with it longer than a tap.

Because killers already have the extra time laying around to do that clearly. No problem, just give up all pressure and tempo to head over there.

i've always 99'd gates once I learned how Blood Warden works, it's just us adapting

Killers triggering endgame shouldnt open the door. Its yet another shortcut for survivors skipping an objective.

I see no issue in this, especially since it's been happening for fear of Bloodwarden anyway. Survivors are just adapting.

Smart survivors always 99ed gates in case of bloodwarden. Nothing new.
You can just open the gate yourself as killer if you see it beeing 99ed.
