I like what he look like in the leak, but I really really want the orginal classic look of him that made him so memorable and iconic!

It has probably something to do with the copyright that he doesn't have the original look.
Also, don't get hyped for any survivor. At the moment, it looks like Ghostface will come alone.

There's nothing stopping the devs going off to the "other" copyright holder to license the rest of the outfit. It will be a premium cosmetic but I'm sure people would buy it.

They got some licencing for him but they need to reach out to Fun World and the owners at this point, to get full approval, it could be expensive but they got rights to add the mask, the outfit? Who knows, they might have a better chance at getting it since they partially got the ok already.

They already reached out to Funworld, that's why they have the mask. They just need to reach out to the film rights owner to get the movie robe, and since they already have the mask, that could persuade them to make a deal, hopefully.

The entire Scream franchise is iconic. Ghostface really needs his outfit and Neve Campbell to go along with him.

that offering its not from ghostface map that was since the game came out they hidde it but for some reason it came back it COULD be i dont know but it will be wierd a standalone killer with a map look at ash he didint have hes map and theres alot of cool scenes on hes tv series that could fit in the game

I'm sure that Ghostface will come alone, and sooner than we think. I say he's out just before or right at the anniversary.
The Ghostface mask... is a separate thing from the Scream movies. BHVR have gotten the license to the Ghostface mask and likeness, nothing from the movie as of yet at least.
So I'm 90% sure it will be a stand alone killer, which is fine. I hope they make a high school map for him, just don't call it Woodsboro etc...
Still hyped as #########. They got the license to use the mask, but not the killer from "Scream". Works for me.

if its just gonna be ghostface by himself, then Iād rather they wait until they can get the license for everything else scream related then just rush out their version of ghostface as is. If your gonna bring scream to DbD, then you gotta do it right. No half measures plz

It seems to me that they didn't get the whole license
BUT
It doesn't have to mean that he is going to come to the DbD alone. They can put one of their original survivors and maps as well. Leatherface came with a new swamp map after all.
I am not sure if they try to do that though, survivors got Ash recently anyway.

The guy that was supposed to make the Ghostface announcement posted on Twitter that it is indeed a chapter complete with a map and survivor, plus this image leaked from the PTB about 20 days ago of a map named 'SIdney's house Woodsboro'. On the other hand, there is this big, credible streamer who implied that the devs told him that Ghostface comes alone.

Yeah , it's Haddonfield however it's not the first time they got the wrong text for something. Anyway, there were many leaks hinting at a Sidney Prescott's release before Ghostface was even leaked by anyone. It's a 50/50 chance about it being a chapter or a standalone killer.
