Time to switch to killer main where my skill actually matters and I can go back to getting 3-4 kills every match.

Played 2 (almost) back to back games where I was hooked once and died because no one ever came to save me. a grand total of about 6000 bloodpoints with a yellow envelope between the two matches.

The more tilting part of this is that the first time, I was in a 4 man swf (3 in voice comms) and the second time, I was in a 3 man swf. And both times, 1 person was being chased while the other two worked on gens until I died. I couldn't even be mad at the killers because they didn't even camp. Just had some crappy teammates

So much easier to earn BP on Killer:

    On a bad match 25k

    On a good match 30k

    On a great match 32k

    On Survivor:

    On a bad match: 2k

    On a good match 15k

    On a great match 25k

lol clearly. One person was my friend, and the other 2 were her friends that I didn't know.

And yeah, trying to get bloodpoints on survivor is just dumb. You get crumbs, even if you carry the team.

Yes and no about blood points. On paper, killers earn more. In actuality it’s a draw.

Because killer matches are at least twice as long as survivor ones, and it’s not always guaranteed to get x points especially against certain groups. So on one hand you have long matches and more blood points, on the other you finish faster for less but you’re guaranteed to get your points in a relatively timely manner...some nasty survivors try to make a killer dc or hold them hostage.

    What do you mean?

On my bad killer games (which usually end in 2 kills), I walk out with around 22k easy (and I don't run Ruin unless I'm playing Trapper so most of my games are short). Even if I go for the absolute worst I've ever done as killer, I'll walk out with 15k easy.

On a bad survivor game, well.... that's what this post was about. 1,400 points. 3,200 the next. It would take me about 5-8 back survivor matches to come out with the same amount I'd get from my absolute worst killer matches. The amount of time does not balance that at ALL.

And survivors holding games hostages is a random side note, and a thing of the past so not sure why you brought that up... but okay

Try Deliverance so you're not reliant on your bad team

My issue with Deliverance (more than one) is:

    1. The perk becomes immediately useless if you are the first one found and hooked (since you can only Kobe off your first hook)
    2. There's much better perks to run in place of it and it feels like a wasted slot
    3. It denies someone else their altruism points (i know, a survivor who cares about other people getting points? amazing XD)

If you're dying immediately without being rescued tho then it can only help you. You have the tools to deal with this problem, use them or stop complaining.

It doesn't happen enough to waste a perk slot on it. And no. I just wanted to vent. Which I did and am allowed to do.

Then maybe just play solo? Usually it's worse than swf but if you know they've made up their mind to let you die it could be better to play with randos who might save you

To be fair, while bad survivor games with 1.2-4K max definitely do happen - they’re usually outliers like the great ones; most average survivor games usually grant you 8-19k points (assuming 20k is great.)

Anyways what I mean is say a survivor and a killer has 24 minutes. The killer game usually takes up that entirety for 24-27k points (assuming 30k is great and not average.) The survivor, however, could play 3 games in that time averaging 8-19k points.

I should note that survivors, while earning less, definitely have much more leeway in regards to what’s considered performing bad-great.

So let’s say you played and got 13k as survivor for those 3 games in 24 minutes. You would have ultimately earned more at 39k in 13k installments than a killer at 24-27k lump sum.

Let’s say you had a bad game (2k) an average game (10k) and a great game (20k.) That’s 32k and equal or more than what a killer would make in that same time.

its almost like they need to encourage people to play killer because they dont want too without an incentive because its that frustrating

This is why you use Deliveraence and DS when playing Solo Surv.... You were playing SWF?

Then it's your team fault sorry
