It works when you unhook someone or someone unhooks you safely and you have it equipped.

Why would you gain stacks for someone else rescuing you?
I'm down with "you heal someone you gain a stack" or to fix the protection score point. But this sounds kinda stupid, sorry.

Doesn't really make sense, as the perk is supposed to reward you for actually rescuing your teammates. Not to mention that it can be easily abused and could end up being the one thing that costs your teammates their own lives, as you're sacrificing yourself for a few extra bloodpoints and giving the Killer more pressure on your life.

How exactly does it not make sense when the name of the perk is "We're gonna live forever" ... not just me not just them, us together

Exactly... it doesn't say You're getting another chance to live or smth. It's literally saying that the user and the "receiver" will live forever... supposedly

I think it should have another effect because it is supposed to be the equivalent of BBQ and chili but BBQ has aura reading so maybe add some aura reading for WGLF as well

Well my logic is that way this would alleviate the rescue anxiety especially with a David in the game too. Everyone won’t have to fight for their stacks if they’re own hooks could be included too.

WGLF doesn't need any extra conditions to gain stacks.
What it needs is to actually do something. It's really dumb that it has absolutely no effect on the trial.

I could see wglf giving both the hooked and wglf user the ability to see the killer aura for 4 seconds when the unhooker is within 16 m of the hook.
But there should be extra options for stacks because survivors shouldn’t have to fight and claw each other for them.

I'm with you on that one. They need to add healing a teammate to full to the list so that solo survivors without Self-care aren't totally screwed.
I don't really see any sufficient rationale for getting unhooked yourself.
