Petition to bring old Remember me back
As the title states i know me as well as many others want old remember me back a lot of skeptics are gonna say but but but its op and not fair in end game okay simple solution is bring old remember me back but make it no longer apply once the end game collapse has started good example once the end game collapse triggers remember mes effects are gone boom i just balanced the perk by doing this you take away the core issue you guys had which was the last survivors chance while also making the perk no longer a toilet bowl of a perk.
Also Another idea i have been playing with is once the EGC starts the last survivor becomes the obsession and gains the ability to open the gate at normal speed like before.

Maybe keep it always only if it's not solo or two survivors (EGC)? Against a team I can see it being okay EGC or not. I like the gone at EGC but if it's a full team that might make the perk undesirable again.

Yeah thats what im asking to happen is like the perk no longer works when the EGC triggers and in return the effects of the remember me are removed so that the final survivor still has a chance but also reviving the perk a little and giving it use again

Yeah, I do get what you mean to remove it at EGC but that would imply that one gate is already open if it's a whole team scenario and thus keeping remember me on the other gate would still be desired, maybe just keep it as it was but reduce it's effectiveness based on if it's EGC or based on how many survivors are left?

I agree but i feel that reverting the nerf and adding the new EGC thing to remove the effects is a good way to bring old remember me back behavior wants the game to be fair and i think this change is rather fair seeing as it still keeps the purpose of old remember me while also taking into account the new purpose of EGC

That would be pretty good too, it keeps its effectiveness while respecting EGC difficulty changes for a last survivor.

So essentially just not hurting that last survivor alive in his chances at the gate? Sounds fine to me. The perk would still need buffs even after reverting the nerf though.
8 seconds added per hit, max of 32 added and doesn't work during EGC. I'd take that deal.

Not trying to be rude OP, but have you ever heard about commas? They make sentences much more easy to read, so everything isn't just in one breath. Like what I used because without commas they make sentences go out to long and too hard too read and makes the reader miserable just like I am doing right now.Yeah! Bring it back. I never used it before, but it doesn't matter.

Yeah i think we would have to settle with 6-7 sadly because they do want the game fair for both sides but the benefit is atleast the perk has use again in endgame builds as of now its kinda faded off into the distance with this we atleast have a chance of getting it back.

I want my old remember me when vs a team of 2 or more when gens are powered. If its a 1v1 sure, fine, nerf it to hell for just that situation. It should work as it did pre EGC when 2+ are alive still and gates are powered. Nobody had a problem with this perk prior as it was.

Oh yeah I know the devs would never actually do 8 seconds. They like to keep killer perks pretty low on the power level. Although I really don't think 8 seconds would be too oppressive. I'll take whatever I can get though. 6 would pretty much just be what it was before and 7 would be a decent buff. Hopefully they'd take the 7 seeing as at 6 no one would run it just like before it was nerfed aside from meme builds.

I say keep it 4 seconds per token, but allow for max 3/4/5 tokens. This way you add 20s to the door for tier 3 and full tokens, which is double time.
Also yes, if killer closes the hatch then the last survivor should become the obsession so they aren't affected by Remember Me. BUT if they do the last gen, then no switch.

Yeah @Hexyl , this is what I was trying to get across too but words are failing me today. Agree 100% though. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I can almost bet blood warden will get a nerf soon though so I hope remember me does get this small buff/nerf reversion (treemanXD bringing up that other known freddy perk...) 😂

Oh well in reference to that, BW may be at its strongest point ever, but its strongest point is very, very weak and situational. I don't feel like saying its at its strongest point is really saying much, even if it is a true statement. There's a reason no one uses it outside meme builds.
I do still think “They like to keep killer perks at a low power level” is a very true statement.

They could have solved the remember me issue by just making the last remaining survivor become the obsession after the hatch is closed.

One way to go with this is to rework Left Behind to work on the gates. That’d keep to viable when there are more than one survivor left when gens are done while giving the last guy a chance.

Honestly keeping Remember Me and deactivating it once Collapse has started was what they should have done in the first place. It would have made a lot more sense than nuking a mid-tier perk from orbit.

Just remove the nerf, and add the condition that the perk deactivates if the killer closes the hatch. Problem solved.

What if Remember Me converted the extra gate time into subtracting the time from the EGC? Of course, this will only apply to the last survivor during the EGC.
Example:
6 stacks = 30 seconds. Therefore, the last survivor will have 1 minute and 30 seconds to escape.

The only buff that it needs its more seconds to open the gates now i dont want to just give the details since most of ppl will just complain the hell out of it but it wont work if youre the last survivor

New remember me is just garbage. If they want it to be "broken" after egc update there is simple solution: old version + once end game collapse is active perk is half effective. Or at least make it that obsession is affected aswell, this would discourage tunneling, since only 4 stacks are needed.
Something needs to be done, because it is simply not worth to take perk for very specific situation like:
3 people are dead. Obsession is dead and was hit 4 times. Killer found hatch first.
And you get 16 seconds for this. If there is no edc its literally worthless.
Unless survivors are absolute potatoes most killers are simply not able to eliminate survivors fast enough. It takes 4 minutes to end the game (even less tbh) as survivor. With this perk its 4minutes 16 seconds... Hooray. Not a viable option in game which is and always will be unbalanced in favour of survivors.
