Why Are Totems STILL Broken?
Serious question. Why do they still spawn next to gen, out in the open or on hill!? Why haven't Totems placements been fixed YET!?

Don't hinge your entire 'skill' set on OP crtuch perks and you shouldn't have to worry about totem positioning.
And there's a way to counter "Hex Rushing" - I think I just coined a new term, lol
It's called [ Hex: Thrill of the Hunt ] and [ Hex: Haunted Ground ]

They cannot fix totem spawns since people will use small game/detectives Hunch, or they’ll just learn the new spots.

@TreemanXD Even if people learn the new spots, it's a big difference if you have to run from one possible spawning point to another and check in all the corners or if a totem sits right next to a gen, waves "hello, here am I" and gets cleansed within the first 20 seconds of the match.
Ruin isn't supposed to last the entire match, it only should buy the killer some necessary time at the beginning in order to get a foot in the door.

Hey every multiplayer game needs an easy-mode right? nobody blames you for that.
Oh wait, no. Easy-mode hand-holding only works in single player games, in multiplayer games it's just boringly predictable and corrosive to the health, well being and future of the game.

@NoShinyPony the obvious spots definitely need removed. Although if more survivors worked through it instead of looking for it then ruin would likely prove very ineffective.

I gotta say as someone who plays mostly survivor the totems spawn are trash even before the whole change to the end game screen where you can see perks if you died early didnt run small game but still found the hex totems but also it depends on the map aswell like big open areas map have crap spawns imo

I'm assuming your go straight to your totem. Try and avoid that it's bad since people objectively look where you go immediately if you have ruin.

You can't fix totem spawns bc adaptability exists. Survivors will just adapt to the new spawns and then we will be back to the same old "FiX tHe ToTeM sPaWnS" #########

@ShrekIsHot Hey hard truths hurt, that's why they're hard truths. No one with power ever released it willingly, it's what people in power do, they hold on against desperately overwhelming evidence that their corrosive hold on the world is tearing it apart at the seams and I get it, nobody wants to give it up once they've got it easy, it's just human nature.

Seriously. So many totem spawn updates and they are still REALLY bad. There are so many better spots I could put them.

I can't even begin to count the matches where I can't find the totem. They have done a great job in hiding them in places that are, even with a map & small game, it's near impossible to get without searching endlessly....
