MoM nerf it's unnecessary and unfair
I don't know why devs think the only way to get the game balance is nerfing survivors over and over. They gave to killer main community the DS nerf after almost 3 years complaining about it and now they want to nerf a good perk that helps us to get a second chance since DS is a ######### now, only because some people are unable to deal with it in their matches or they're bad at chases or they don't use their M2 and they only complain about it instead improving as killer. (I play killer too and MoM is never a issue to me, I can catch them quickly)
Please devs, MoM's nerf can never happen. The perk is good as it is now. Stop listening only one side of the community.

They did stop listening to only one side. It used to be survivor only. Now they are listening to both sides, as seen by DS, MOM and Legion changes.

Yeah... I don't think so. Legion nerf is the only major nerf to killers since a long time. I can tell you a lot way more survivor nerfs.

that, my friend, is not how balancing works.
"just play a different killer" is not the kind of counterplay that should be suggested. every killer needs a fair chance to handle this perk.
the same way i could answer to you to just stop running the perk, so you dont have any reason to complain anymore. does that sound like a good argument? no.

Well yeah, we cant have Survivors having powerful perks that are actually worth taking oh no no NO that 'privilege' is reserved for Killers.
Another Survivor perk for the shelf. I swear Killers won't be happy till Survivors spawn already on the hook with a 0.0001% chance to de-hook themselves in a 1 Survivor vs 20 Killer match and 0 perks while Killers spawn with all perks maxed out.

First of all, M2 attacks dont counter the perk, only chainsaws counter the perk.
Second, how is It that the guy who downed you is the one that needs improving and the one using such powerful advantage like a second chance is the skilled player?

Killers having powerful perks in general is logical, they are alone.
Survivors are a team of 4, if you give 4 of them a powerful perk it quickly becomes a shitshow like with old DS.

Guess what? Not all killers are viable. Never all killers will have the same chance bc of that. And I didn't said that, devs did. If you wanna counter it you have Billy, Huntress, Plague, Leatherface or just be good at chases.

When they run all the survivors off to other games the only ones left will be killers. Make a new game mode called killer vs killer to keep the game alive. They can kill each other with NOED and BBQ

Exactly, this is why I dislike the fact that the Dev's allowed the survivor mindset to sit in place for so long (aka the survivor should always be able to 1v1 a killer, its suppose to be 1v4 )

secondthirdfourth chance since DS is still commonly used, only because some people are unable to deal with it getting caught in their matches or they're bad at chases or they don't use mind games and they only complain about it instead improving as survivor. (I play survivor too and MoM is an issue to me, I can catch 1 non-MoM/DS/SB/BT/Adrenaline quickly while the rest need to be hit 4+ times, by which point a competent SWF with VoIP already has 4 gens done)Please OP, MoM's nerf needs to happen. The perk is too good as it is now. Stop trying to bring back the "good old Benny Hill days".

Are you just gonna ignore the fact that Enduring + Spirit Fury is a combo? You need 2 perk slots, unlike MoM.
Now, Enduring + Spirit Fury can be countered by any survivor using any build, just throw the pallet down earlier, simple as that.
In conclusion, you cant compare MoM, which is a single perk without any counter if you are playing a M1 killer, with Enduring + Sirit Fury, which is a combo of 2 perks that can be countered by any survivor at any time.

I'm sorry, is the Wraith, Freddy, Doctor, and Hag supposed to just bend over and forced to work harder with no counter play whatsoever? Fortnite is a pretty swell game always looking for new players!

I only see complains here, not arguments, typical of killer mains. Mom is a good perk for getting a second chance when you make a mistake at chases (we aren't perfect players you know?) but then you complain because you can't catch a guy with the perk and then you tunneled him until the end of the match and then you complain in end game chat about SWF's or you're just too lazy to hit M1 two times. Or also DC before survivors can escape, like a lot of my matches as survivor

Yeah this is the biggest issue, you have too many no skill free activation perks.

That's not totally true. Killer are more powerful than survs, and a survivor is a person who want to have fun, and want to escape. Killers want to balance to do 4k at least 50% of games, perhaps 3k 30%, 2k 15%, 1k 5% and never makes 0k. This is for a person playing in his house less than 2 escape in 10 match, and I don't think this is balance.

That's usually the way it works.

When you are a killer you are punished for not applying gen pressure. So why should survivors get a second chance? You have DS, DH, and Deliverance and you want more? How would you like it if the killer was garbage and you finish a gen but his perk prevents you from completing it and it resets to zero. If you fail, you fail.

Counter: NOED, Billy, Huntress, Plague's Corrupt Purge, Devour Hope, Pig's Ambush, That Clown red addon who got you exposed status effect if you are hitted with the bottle, Just hitting them one time more...

I main Trapper and have had no change in my kill rate since MoM. Most survivors are still potatoes and 3-4k is still common. If MoM is destroying your matches, practice anticipation and mind games because you need to improve your skills.

You know what a counter is,right?
Counter:
- you can do it on every killer
- you can always counter the perk in the match(not only endgame)
- the perk has zero effect
Example:
Noed counter Adrenaline

More and more 2nd-chance-mechanics have lead to a 2nd-chance-mentality. Some players are so used to having multiple 2nd chances that they can't imagine playing without anymore.
MoM has only been existing for a couple of weeks. With all the perks that already existed, playing survivor was perfectly fine before.
Guys, you don't need MoM to survive. There are so many other tools available if you don't want to play the game without a 2nd chance. The devs made the right decision to change MoM.
