Buying Blood Points.
By this point I'm surprised it's not a thing. So my question is would anybody want this?

With the leaks towards the new Battlepass feature that some have posted on here, it seems to show that Shards and Bloodpoints will be obtainable off of that, so in a way, it is coming soon, kind of..?

@Chaotic_Riddle I was thinking more like a loot crate.

@thrawn3054 God, I would hope not. Loot crates are already a plague in the gaming industry...The last thing we need is BHVR catching that cold.

Absolutely not. Money doesn't represent skill. Buying bloodpoints would make DBD pay to win.

@AntiJelly I was thinking about it as a possible solution to people wanting a reduced grind. This would reduce it for those who want that. While leaving the grind in place for those that want it. I'm not saying it's a good or bad idea. Just curious what others thought.

@thrawn3054 Yes, I understand that, but if people can pay to access everything in the game, what's the point of playing then?

The battlepass "Leak" was a fake.
While they asked the question in the player survey which is likely what inspired the mockup it's absolutely fake.

@AntiJelly To give those the option to just play without fighting through the grind. There are times you want to try a build but can't because you lack the perks to do it. Some people enjoy the grind others just want to enjoy the game.

No. Just no. Why would anyone want this is my question. This makes the game a “pay to win” even if you want to have fun. I would welcome more and easier ways of grinding.

Why on earth would you be willing to pay real money for something that can be earned through playing the game?
Plus it only caps at a million.
Not to mention this would be scuffed as hell.
You'll be able to start a new account, buy bp and lvl up all of your survivors & killers obtaining all of their perks, items and add-ons without any gameplay experience.

Exactly! Dude They're talking about a Battle Pass for a asymmetrical horror game? This isn't a BR!

I want to be able to use my credit card in a game to buy kills.

I don't see the big deal you'll end up eventually getting all the perks if you play long enough. It doesn't have anything to do with skill you can be terrible or be a beast and still end up getting the same perks and items on your bloodweb the only difference is how quick you will get them.
On the other hand specific add ons on the blood web would be a problem because someone with a endless disposable income could just burn through bloodwebs and only equip "OP" add ons for every match instead of only having so many of them at a time. That would be a big problem.

Because one, this game is too grindy. A new player coming to this game has a lot of grind to do before they get the perks they want.
If they don't buy Leatherface for bbq, it's gonna take a long long time.
Two, not everyone plays this game all day every day.
I used to get 500k-600k bp a day when I played it regularly, but right now I can't due to real life. Sometimes I wish I had some bloodpoints left but then I realise I haven't played for days.
I would love to see this introduced, I would buy it if the prices are reasonable.
One bad thing about this is that it somewhat kills the joy in this game. It's hard to explain, I'm proud to have my Dwight to p3, it shows I spent a lot of points and a lot of time playing this game to get there. With this any new player can get any character to p3. This is the only downside I have with this.
A good alternative to this, is to make the grind easier.
Better dailies, harder but with a better reward.
Or add a weekly ritual that rewards even more.

Hey I ran you cc and you sir have been declined...
The 100$ for 1 Mill bp has exceeded your credit limit.
You need to contact your issuer on the back of your clown card...

I didn't feel it would be pay to win until I thought about addons. That actually makes this a bad idea.

Seriously, it's a bad idea. But I'm in full support of easing up the grind for newbies.

Oh god please tell me this isnt true
Where does it say anything about the battlepass?

Blood points arent a representation of skill. You can be someone who has never been past rank 15 and still have blood points.

No, no, no, and I cant say this enough, no
