DBD on SSD vs HDD?

Does it affect the gameplay at all? Or just the loading time?

after i switched from HDD to a Samsung 970 Evo Plus SSD, i got like 3~5 fps of improvement (my old HDD was almost 6 years old, and only had 80GB), also... the loading times are so much faster now

IF you run game and OS from same HDD another HDD/SDD will help.

IF you run OS from SSD and game from 7200 rpm HDD and you will replace HDD for SSD (or move DBD to SSD) you will notice improvement only during loading.

SSD only improves read time since it's much faster than HDD. So yes your games will load faster. Also consider that having decent CPU, and GPU affect loading times too.
