Kill Switch update: The Mastermind has been Kill Switched due to an issue with Virulent Bound. The Mastermind will be re-enabled once this issue is fixed.

The Amanda's Letter add-on for The Pig has been Kill Switched due to an issue with incorrect RBT count.

Dedicate a Chapter to improve the overall health of the game

I personally would be 100% fine if instead making killers that are more broken than the last instead dedicate the time to fix as many of the issues/bugs/balancing in the game

If any of you played Rainbow Six Seige they did the same thing with Operation Health

I understand they need some sort of way to get money so hopefully if they decide to add the battlepass or whatever they can focus their time on improving the quality of the game

I think we can go a little while without a new killer/survivor jumping into the game if it means fixing alot of the issues surrounding this game

Except operation health was an overall flop. It didnt fix everything, and caused more issues.

@Carpemortum yes but that was also an issue on the devs side as long as BHVR doesent ######### it up it would be a big success and most likely bring more people back to the game

@legion_main right, but as weve seen before, the community isn't exactly....faithful in the devs choices and abilities.

Not that I think there bad, I like the devs and generally enjoy most of what comes out, but there have been some very questionable decisions.

Fixing stuff don't generate revenue, DLCs and Store fodder do. So be good cattle and consume what they feed you with.

    I agree!

I'd much rather have a stable game instead of new killers being added every 3 months.

If I am correct wasn't Operation Health really buggy?

@Hoodedfengm1n yes but its just an example the BHVR team are different than them if they actually can pull it off then the game will be WAY better in terms of quality

Some of you have way too much faith in BHVR. This is the same developer that launched Freddy, nerfed him into oblivion only a couple weeks later, and now one and a half years later, we’re STILL waiting for his rework.

You aren’t talking about skipping one chapter here, you’re talking about multiple chapters. And they won’t pass on that money.

They won't do that simply because they would rather release new content out the door with each chapter patch, something that is more profitable.

Plus, improving the overall health could prove to be an issue in itself. Some choices made in the past either have bias for either side, or just make something worse; and the dbd community itself has bias so its likely whatever changes happen might not be so good for one side.

Seems like a really bad example honestly. Besides, every Mid chapter patch strives to do the same thing.

Don't blame the car, blame the driver who was drunk.

They did it wrong. Doesn't mean it can't be done correctly.

    I agree 100% with this.

3 or 6 months of dedicated work to fix bugs, game engine irks, exploits and similar stuff can do a TON of good, they can still push out cosmetics for money since coders and the 3D artist should be separate teams.
