Idea for Rank Rewards
What about this at least:
Rank 20 -> 17 = No Rewards
Rank 16 = 200 shards
Rank 15 = 300 shards
Rank 14 = 400 shards
Rank 13 = 500 shards
Rank 12 = 700 shards
Rank 11 = 800 shards
Rank 10 = 900 shards
Rank 9 = 1000 shards
Rank 8 = 1200 shards
Rank 7 = 1300 shards
Rank 6 = 1400 shards
Rank 5 = 1500 shards
Rank 4 = 1700 shards
Rank 3 = 1900 shards
Rank 2 = 2100 shards
Rank 1 = 2400 shards
- You will get rewards for both roles, depending on how well you ended in that role
- (Max is 4800 shards if you will hit Rank 1 Killer and Survivor in one season)
- Your best will be counted so If you drop again, you will still get rewards from your last best

Any rewards would be appreciated. I’m devotion 6 already and still no point in it.

How about SWF?
You know, the Killers are almost without any chance, if they play the M1 Killers. Not to mention, how much the third party programs for voice chat help.
Personally, I am all up to make the rewards achievable in Solo mode only - No SWF, no KYF.

I mean, you can't rank up/down in Kill your friends anyway, so there's no point of giving any rewards there, but considering SWF, I agree on excluding them as well. It's true that SWF groups are usually damn-well synchronised for M1 killers to do anything (if the survivors aren't potatoes, that is). Other that that, I think the rewards are fine.

Sorry for bringing up the KYF - I've never touched it, not yet.
With the rest, I can tell, we agree on the same thing. If the rewards would be added, and if it would be possible to get them via being in SWF, expect infinite waiting queues in Survivor side, and way more people, who'd try really hella hard, instead of playing for fun.
Some people play their best all the time, and some just relax, take their stress out of their heads.
So, make the SWF to be unable to get those rewards, or create some kind of a detection program, which could identify, whether you're using a third party program for voice chat, or not... Although, it seems to be impossible to tell.
In conclussion - SWF can't get those rewards, Solo players can, or don't even implement it in the game.

sure thing, hundreds of shards every month, yeah maybe as a bonus for buying a battle pass.
but then the shop will change and most cosmetics will be auric cells only, there is no need for ranking rewards when the "seasons" are monthly.
would work with 3 seasons a year but then the matchmaking would need a serous overhault and to avoid boosting: a greater influx of boosting services and other tools where you can pick your lobbies.
no to mention the split between casual and ranked, doubt the game can sustain 2 game modes with an avg daily playerbase of 16k players scattered over the globe (time zones, vpn)
