So were there any qualifications required for the vanilla experiment?
I was really hoping to get to play this, it sounded like fun and there was gonna be reward given out to participants.
Signed up for it and filled out the entire survey, but to my misfortune I wasn't sent an email informing me I got to participate.
So I really am curious, was there actually any proper qualifications (such as play time, highest rank, etc) or did they just pick purely at random?

I dunno! I'm guessing they did pick at random though, 'cause I have 37 hours and my highest rank is like... 15-18. If it makes you feel any better, it's not like the rest of us can get into it either with the issues right now c':

But only 37 hours? Wow, that's a huge surprise, I've clocked over 560, most of it pertaining to killer and getting to rank 1 with killer. If you ask me that's a little bit silly, but I suppose it's not to big a deal.
Bummed I missed out on a free reward, whatever it may be. Because to my knowledge rewards given out to a small fraction of people in the community tend to be some of the best/ rarest. Not unless they're just giving out auric cells.
Anyways, best of luck to you in the vanilla experiment whenever it's actually up and running C:

I think they had like... 15k people sign up? Someone said that somewhere. Maybe they had stricter restrictions on killer than on survivor and that's why I got in, 'cause I signed up as survivor. Which I guess makes sense 'cause I feel like this is mostly a test of the killers base power/abilities because a survivor is a survivor without any perks.

I signed in as killer with over 680 hours and with best rank 1. BUt I didnt get a mail sadly, so dont know hard is was to get in as killer. Or maybe it was even for killer just random. Or the earlier bird got the worm^^

Well I signed up as soon as the announcement went out, so it's likely just pure luck.
Either way, I do hope I could possibly get some way to participate validly, but I don't think the devs are gonna accept me asking if I could get shot an email to participate. Tough tits I guess :L

I have something like 800 hours and have hit red ranks, but didn't get chosen, it's either random or they have a quota for certain ranges of play time and other factors (like location, ping, etc. I guess).
