DBD mixed reviews on steam
Well oh well, dropped down to 65% last 30 days

It's a combination of the EGC (expected, survivors are the only ones who've ever review bombed the game) and people who expect to be pros at a game after 0,1 hours.

I gave my Steam review for the first time last month.
Just saying.

Don't forget people unhappy with Legion changes and I can remember at least one killersided review bomb, which happened after they announced the Freddy nerf.

I changed my review to negative a few months ago.
I had enough after I saw them add MoM after nerfing ds.
I support the ds change, but adding another broken perk just after nerfing one? That's unacceptable.

I like how most people who have negative reviews for dbd play the game all the time and are obsessed with it
9 -
Yeah its to do with the Legion change, MoM and EGC.

For better or worse, Steam reviews are no longer reviews of a recently purchase game but a way for fans to provide feedback for the devs.
2 -
Recently purchased game reviews are actually not helpful, these reviewers don't have anywhere near enough experience with the game to properly review it.

I bought the game the day it came out on PS4 without really knowing anything about it (I just like horror). After the first couple of matches I wanted to smash my controller and uninstall the game. I decided to keep trying though and read guides and wikis and all that. I imagine a lot of people just give up. For instance, the review for the game on Destructoid is clearly written by a guy who played it very little and never bothered to learn how to play.

Totally giving it a good review now
EDIT:
It's at 71%, not 65%. Also, the reviews have been steady, and the only real dips looking at the review graphs were in July of 2018 and then March. Adding up the negative reviews there have been 513 this month, with a weekly average of 171, which when added together would project to be 684 negative reviews which is lover then average a month. If you do your math you will see the reviews are showing that it's doing better then it has been in the past with negative reviews overall not being this low since April of 2017 with the exception of a couple months which are only off by roughly a minor amount of negative reviews (10-25) and this post makes no sense.

free weekend and all the tester can wittness the beauty of balance and the games community in its best light.
it will go up soon with the next fanboy dlc release, free weekends are just there to scew and inflate the avg players.
edit: the first impression of a game is what matters for a customer, who actually belives a review of a diehard fan? sure the objectivity is out of the window but new players tend to instantly point out major flaws whilest veterans are just obessed with tiny deteails and "balance"

Pathetic is what they are. Review bombing is just scummy.

BHVR isn’t competent enough to fix their game let alone balance it.

@DarkWo1f997 DBD has the same level of balance than Ow a.k.a, the devs don't know what they're doing.

Try this for good old reviewer (bare with it, it takes over 8mins to get to the messages)

You know what was funny? I just went on an angry rant in my friend’s Xbox party (group chat) saying I bet the overwatch team could balance this game better than BHVR can lmao.

check out the killer review bomb on the Legion DLC Overwhelmingly negative at 19% positive over last 30 days.

@DarkWo1f997 DBD would die if the OW team worked on it, they'd probably release a MOM 2.0, and they would completely nerf all the characters streamers complain about, since they don't hear the playerbase.
2 -
Yeah and I bet they’d give survivors ultimates and make mercy a killer.
