DS needs another condition
Said this before, I know it'll get ignored again.
Anyway.
It's ridiculous having DS proc after hooking TWO other people. I don't see it any better than old non-obs DS in these cases, where it is easily exploited to break any momentum the killer may gain.

This is true, I have had matches where I would down and hook 2 people, find the other person who had DS and down them, then they are still able to activate it because it is tier 3

It works for anti tunnel perfectly but It does need some tweaks outside of that in my opinion.
I think if another survivor has been hooked while your DS is active then it should deactivate. This way a survivor isn't safe off the hook for a whole minute of a game.
Either that or reduce the timer because 60 seconds is a very long time with how quick games go and especially in the end game.

60 seconds isn't a long time.
The perk is perfect and on top of that it doesn't prevent tunneling, it stalls it but it's better than nothing.

If you have an obsession, just get into the habit of slugging if someone's been hooked recently. If they run right at you then they definitely have DS so slug them.

I just think its timer needs to be 45 seconds.
At 60 it isn't an anti-tunnel perk, it's a 1 minute immunity perk.
I get hit with this many times after hooking a different survivor and then finding the previous guy again with the perk still active. That wasn't tunneling but I still get punished.

The perk is perfectly balanced and yet Killers are still whining. Just don't tunnel if you don't want to get DS'd and you'll keep your "momentum."

DS doesn't need a change.
If you are getting DS'd as you say after downing and hooking another survivor then finding the survivor who was just unhooked..... learn some game sense to determine "did I really just find this survivor, or did they let me find them?"
Most people running DS now will try to get the killer to chase and down them while it's active. If they don't it is a wasted perk and they know this.
If you do down them.... leave them on the ground. Slugging creates pressure just like hooking. Slug, chase someone off a gen, run back to the slug and get whoever is coming for the heal or just pick them up and hook them now that DS is gone.
The perk as it is prevents tunneling off hook, and gives survivors the option to try and use it offensively too if the killer is dumb enough to fall for it. It has plenty of counterplay for killers who know what they are doing.

Luckily, DS is getting buffed soon (Endurance Rework), as it's clearly not powerful enough in its current state, given the DC epidemic.

Personally I have no issues with current DS.
But I can see DS getting nerfed so if you hook another person the DS gets disabled from the person who had it.

I can see that, oh well for the killer who tunnels the survivor for the rest of the game and DS still being available..
And end game as well, the person who got unhooked will have DS ready for the rest of the trial.

Compared to the old DS. It’s fine and it’s usually obvious when someone has it and if you don’t want to get hit by it. Then just slug that survivor until the timers up.

you have situations like the one you described where, yes, you weren't tunneling but still got hit by ds. then you have other games where you're immediately getting chased again off hook but you have a setup strong enough to last you more than 60s, or the killer doesn't run loops well. you were tunneled in this scenario, but you were good enough to last more than 60s, so you dont get a chance to use ds without intentionally going down. it can suck for both sides

but yeah, it does feel cheap. especially if they unhook them right in your face with BT then and you just literally lost all possible momentum.

Obviously you can't down and hook 2 other guys, then come back for the 1st guy and down him again, in 60 secs.
That's why you haven't been hit by DS since the rework.

Firstly, it's not my problem anyway.
Answering your question, Billy or Leatherface are pretty capable of doing that. I've done it with Huntress and Spirit too.
About your 2nd question, yes it would be easy, if I knew the guy had DS. The thing is, you don't know. Most of the times MoM is also in the picture, so the obsession thing has its own ways to work.
And when there's no MoM, the DS guy is NOT the obsession.

Most of the time survivor just dont move (Stop the chase), so the timer dont runs out and they can stun you.
And I think we should go back for the old obsession mechanic (if you run a obsession perk you are the obsession) so you would know if the guy has ds or not
But that would make the perk bassically usseles because tunnelers will just camp you for 60 seconds...

Calm down guys, there are no plans or reworking Decisive Strike. The devs have stated that its at a good place right now and I agree.
It's such great anti-tunneling perk, I just don't like it that it's stuck behind a pay wall for some.

Slug people that you tunnel for a minute (or in your case, less than twenty seconds I'm sure), run Enduring and power through it, or punish the unhookee.
It's occasionally powerful but counter-able and fair. It's perfectly fine where it is.
I even stopped using it on my survivor even though it's my favorite perk because many killers don't give me the opportunity to use it.

After the changes to DS, you'd think the detractors of the perk would be done hating on it. apparently, they'd rather it be thrown into the old Deja Vu tier rather than be a viable perk to disrupt tunneling behaviour.

I wish I would have read how it worked for the game I played a little bit ago. People were unhooking people instantly during the last gen and then body blocking for the person that unhooked them. Three of the four got me with it but I ended up going Merciless anyway because I got rid of all of their DS-es and MoM-s before gates luckily due to their over confidence in their perks. Gotta give my handy dandy traps their credit as well.
