An Idea to make this game great again! (exaggerated phrased)

How would you guys like it if the DEV's would give survivor perks a certain value. For example: You could give a specific perk a value between 1 and 3 (1 weak - 3 strong). Each survivor should not exceed a certain value in the choice of their perks (for example 8).

Why ? Quite simple!

This game is already more on the surviver side (lets be honest here). Even the best killer quickly gets frustrated when you suddenly see these crutch perks everywhere. Through these values you could at least force the survivor to try out other perks as well (so many beautiful ppl are working on these perks.. TRY THEM!). Did you ever face a (SWF-)Group with 16 crutch perks ? No ? What a lucky dude.

If someone asks himself: "Why not also for killer perks ?" .. it should be kinda obvious tbh.

I am playing killer and survivor equally. More survivor these days because I am in the high ranks again and playing billy and nurse gets boring by time. I know this game is balanced (kind of) in the low ranks. But pls show some love for actually good players on the high ranks. And cmon.. a change like that is necessary imo.

    I’ll pass. The current perk system is good as is— plus, it could be incredibly unbalanced is some situations. You could run Self-Care, DS, Dead Hard, Vigil... and so forth. I like the four perks system because it limits your abilities. For example, you can only have four perks. What you’re suggesting is a 16 perk system that over complicates the game and would make meta builds much easier to run; and you could stack them, as well.

    I see where you’re coming from, but some ideas are better on paper than exposition. I’d prefer more basegame before we make changes to the amount of perks each side could run, but for now, by no means should they be hindered.

    An interesting idea that I've tossed around before as well.

    They need to find a way of better balancing the high ranks while not destroying the lower ranks. Currently they are focused on the lower ranks only which leaves high ranks as a giant dumpster fire of imbalance.

    I agree the game still needs to be balanced both as survivor and killer but this is not the way to do it

    I won't disagree, but I think there is a difference. As a survivor you don't rly need crutch perks to perform well. As killer you kinda need them if you want to have a chance.

    (Nurse is not part of this argument at all)
