Is Ghostface delayed/coming sooner than expected bhvr?
This post did have a June 18th release date.
Delay? Coming soon? Weren't supposed to say and quickly rushed to delete it this morning?...

They are announcing the release date on stream there is not a official release date yet

@legion_main There was though. Right on that post i linked until Queen edited it earlier today. It said June 18th all day yesterday.

@legion_main It was listed on the news section on the last update Peanits did as June 18h... then not_queen removed it around 11 am.

@Bbbrian2013 they said all information on ghostface will be revealed during the stream along with the freddy rework and other changes so most likely tomorrow we will get an OFFICIAL release date

I was really hoping they would release it tomorrow as part of the livestream as a thank you and congrats to 3 years! I have my 9000 shards and 1,000,000 ready and waiting!

Peanits obviously didn't throw in a date he thought was right. Someone higher than him must have approved it.

tbh... I don't think that was the date.. seems odd to come out with a reveal and then make people wait another 18 days.. but I could be wrong there..

18 days isn't that long. Or do you count the PTB? If they release the PTB tmw or announce it for next Tuesday then I think the timeline makes sense for the DLC to come out on the 18th.

Didn't they make Licensed character only purchasable with real money? Which was why people were so mad about Mettle of Men because it was paid only.

we will have to see... IMO, the only reason not_queen would have removed the date was if it was incorrect... since the date was already put out, the damage is done. It doesn't just go away since a huge portion of people seen it.
... If they were putting it into a PTB then it will be well over a month away then.... They put in the PTB.. there is one week.. then 2 weeks of them getting it ready. The timing wouldn't line up if they announce a PTB on a Friday... for a release on the 18th.
We'd basically have to be playing on the PTB this week if that was the case.
but the Devs do want to surprise people so we'll see.

@mistar_z some people think it MIGHT be released with shards because when they accidentally released him when EGC came out it showed that some of stuff was available with shards but it is a big MAYBE

They also recently started calling Paragraphs as Chapters.
I think LF and Bill were before they did PTBs so Ash would be the only character they haven't put on the PTB, right? I don't think survivors by themselves would warrant a PTB anyway (everyone already knew they hated or loved MoM based on the description, you don't really need to test that). Killer powers are much more complex and little tweaks can make a big difference.

Commenting since i'm hoping we'll get some clarification on this. And yeah, not a single "Paragraph" character's had a PTB so far, and Ghostface looks like a Paragraph is anything.

Yes but the only killer to be a paragraph was Leatherface and they didn't do PTBs back then. Killer powers are a lot more complex than a survivor with perks. Not saying they're definitely gonna do a PTB but the only reasons they wouldn't are: 1. The license doesn't allow for it, 2. They think Ghostface is good to go, 3. They want to push it out for the anniversary. What's happened in the past doesn't apply here.

Ah man, really? That's annoying but not the end of the world, I assumed you could get him with shards. I paid for every other character, so maybe i'll just use my shards on Jane just to watch that butt jiggle.

Wasn't aware of this, is a shame but not the end of the world. I'll use my shards on Jane, but not until Ghost Face is released just in case. Worst case scenario i'll have him at level 50 the second I've got him.

Most likely PTB on the jun 4th then ghostface release on jun 18th

I was thinking about this last night about why the date was taken out.. I still think it was because it was wrong.. and the whole is it going on PTB.... but we forget... this will also have the Freddy rework.
Wonder if it will goto PTB and the PTB will have both Ghostface and the new Freddy on it.
That might happen.
