Unhook immunity
Why can survivors tank leatherfaces chainsaw when they get off the hook? Why do they get a period of invincibilty?

Survivors whined that they could get hit during the unhook animation. Normally they should be attackable agfain "once their feet touch the ground".
Somehow that means they somehow are immune up to 5 seconds after the unhook.

Survivors complained that they can get bit before they have any control of their character. So they changed it so that the second they have control of their character then they are vulnerable. Anytime before that is not gonna do anything. I would try releasing chainsaw right when their feet touch the floor.

Why do they always listen to those survivor babies....

Because before you could farm a survivor and you could down them and hook them fast, but if you dislike it
Play huntress, she does not care about no invincibility frame, she will just smite you with a hatchet

No need to be immune. Your teammates should not perform a unhook when you have no chance of getting away, and if they still wanna try they should atleast have Borrowed Time equipped.

Survivors get invincibility frames when they are unable to control their character. After being unhooked, there is still a delay to when the Survivor regains control and that is when your hits will not down them.

If they can't be hit, at least their hitbox should disappear for the same time. A lot of times I'm trying to hit the unhooker only to have the unhooked tank the swing.

survivors are whiners. That's why devs have to break the game so they stop bitching around. I play 90% killer, so me as a killer, i suggest to attack his friend, than (if possible) go and down the hooked guy, let him there and find his savior, don't hook the hooked guy again, let him there and go after the others, they will mess up with this. Or just tunnel and facecamp if the team deserves a crap match.

That was a change that should have never went through. Unhook properties are not supposed to favor survivors.

There is no way to protect hook swarm anymore. I just hit a guy who was on his feet and running after unhook and he just tanked the blow with no borrowed time. So many survivors escape cause of this.

As a killer main, I'm fine with this. While it is annoying that they eat the hit and run, I'd be ######### pissed if I lost a phase because someone thought it'd be funny to unhook me while the killer's swinging.

No because this means they are running out the exit gates when they should have died.

Why shouldn’t they have unhook immunity? It’s stupid that the killer could down a survivor before they could even CONTROL their character when they got saved (which isn’t controlled by the hooked survivor because they can easily just get farmed).
You shouldn’t be around the hook anyways so if Borrowed Time goes off it is for a reason. Don’t camp and you won’t have to deal with Borrowed Time. Unless the survivors are extremely altruistic and you have no reason to leave.
Also, why would you go after the hooked survivor in the first place? Go after the rescuer, they’ll get the unhook but it puts more pressure on survivors. You have another survivor hooked and the other one is still injured. It makes no sense not to go after the rescuer.

Theres nothing else to do when the gates are open. They have control and they still get free immunity. Why should survivors be able to run past me unhook and then the person can tank a chainsaw? I'm not even camping but I may as well do nothing once gates are open but afk because the unhook and escape is always free thanks to immunity. Its just bad.
