DBD twitch mods timing out some people for saying certain content creator names.
Note, I have seen numerous Puppers, No0b3, and Monto's slip through, yet about half of the messages wrote out about them get timed out. Do you guys really hate your damn community that much? I can understand automodding copypastas and spam, but for Christ's sake, what the hell is wrong with you guys.

In many Twitch streams it is considered poor form or even not allowed to talk about or reference other streamers.
I don't know what was being said in chat since I didn't have it opened, but I do not find it odd that people mentioning specific streamer names would get a timeout for it.

Twitch chat is worthless garbage most of the time. That's if you can even read it because most of the time it goes by too fast to do that.

Why do people find the need to even say that specific content creators name in chat?
7 -
good, those people are famous enough already, they don’t need to be referenced anywhere else

@PolarBear Probably because they were wondering why those creators didn't have a section in the compilation like other content creators for the game. Hell Dashie got a section and his last video on DBD was roughly 4 months ago, so why was he there?

@Detective_Jonathan But Dashie and Ohmwrecker were there and I think they have roughly the same OR more subs. So given your logic, should they have not been mentioned? Or is it because you like those two and not the ones who are, as you said "Famous enough already"

Maybe to stop promoting a second ochido. And people were just ######### spamming the chat, it's great their comments were getting deleted.

@tafner Firstly, "He who shall not be named" was a douche. Secondly, I can understand removing the names because of spam, but that doesn't necessarily mean they would be promoting it if they weren't deleting them.

Well they definitely do not like no0b3 for good reasons but I don't know about the others. Nevertheless, spamming random content creators names in the stream should be time out regardless of who it is because it contributes nothing and only serves to create drama.

Well, for one, Puppers said something about his own name as a joke and got a 30 minute timeout, and upon being let back in made a joke about no0b3, only to be timed out again. It doesn't really matter why someone wants to say specific content creator names in chat (a majority that started the Pupper banwave was asking about the locker cosplay he did, why it didn't get shown), although the real mass timeouts started when puppers got timed out for next to nothing. That would be the reason people are saying their names in chat. I don't really see a reason why a fog whisperer should have their name stricken from chat.

Dead by Daylight wouldn't be the same without No0b3, Puppers or Monto.
Stop being sensitive DBD, I don't even know who Cauliflower is but I know she has 1/3 of viewers what Puppers has and 1/7th of what No0b3 does.
These streamers exist and some (like Puppers and Monto) should be recognized.
Puppers on average has about 1.4- 1.8k viewers.
No0b3 has about 3.8-4.2k on a normal basis.

Just because they exist doesn't mean you have to reference them in streams that have nothing to do with them. Stop being so sensitive.

Don't assume I was doing it.
I'm not the one who was deleting comments.
I'm just pointing it out.

Ochido also gets hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube, so we should like him too and talk about him in an Anniversary stream chat, got it.
Should probably lock this thread, nothing good will come of it.

You're obviously exaggerating as I only pointed out non-toxic streamers.
I watch Puppers constantly and he's a chill guy.
No0b3 stopped the toxicity.
3 -
no0b3 literally hacked in items and then made a video blaming the devs for banning him while lying about why he got banned. If that doesn't make the devs hate you forever nothing will. They had every right to not allow anyone to talk about him.
Again, none of this matters because its an anniversary stream and spamming random content creators contributes nothing.

Wasn't that last year?
He still promotes the game and like I said, he stopped the toxicity, but it's fine. The only thing I don't understand is when are some people like you are going to stop seeing him in such a bad light.
I pointed out 2 others but you want to make this about No0b3. Whatever.

Your vendetta against streamers is just unhealthy.

I like noob. We're friends. What does that have to do with why the devs wouldn't like him
