We have a new the worst killer in game.
15 seconds of exposed status effect and only on one person + survivors receive a sound notifications when they got exposed. Not to mention that he will be screwed on open field maps such as blood lodge and easy visible with his white mask. Oh I forget to mention. No mobility + eazy loopable + no map pressure.

Just because its "stalking" doesnt mean it's exactly like Meyers.

Doesn't he also only have like 5 seconds with no terror radius? I'm not fully familiar with his power but I remember hearing his stealth was worthless

They're going to want us to stalk up close to one shot them before we are spotted. Since the 0 terror radius timer is based on time spotted
You can tell this by looking at all of the spotter related add-ons he has. If you're looping at all with ghost you're likely not playing right.

If spine chill/OoO/premonition works on him thats super bad...

@ClogWench 5 seconds of being spotted. If you're are in a survivors FoV it lasts until that timer is up while being looked at

Of course it will work. Take the Pig for example when you can see her with OoO while she is crouching, making her 1/3 entire power useless.

The chirps tells people you are very close by. Stealth is useless. He's loopable. Most maps are open fields with a ton of pallets. Exposed timer is super short. Welcome to pallet town, Bud.

From what I've seen of gameplay the stalking takes barely any time at all, and recharges very quickly. If a survivor hears a notification it should be too late. The only real problem I can foresee is sprint burst users. I feel like he'll be basically a better Myers, and Myers is gonna need a rework because they're too similar. Ghostface seems like he'll definitely be better, due to the much increased time to give the exposed effect, and the fact that he can have a 0 terror radius. People will likely run Sprint Burst until it's been a while since his release and people are playing him less.

Any veteran player can already tell he's going to be bad. He has no map pressure, no stall and no snowball potential. So he's just a boring M1 killer, bringing nothing new and interesting to the game. To those who say ghost will be better than Myers......NO just.....NO

Imagine unironically thinking a killer with a built in 1 shot mechanic will be worse then an M1 Killer on a 7-second delay.... yikes.

I Just hope he's decent but then again looking back on plauge she was decent not even that strong and they nerfed her on release so I'm not getting my hopes up.

Theres videos about the power pn YouTube.... the devs may have changed him a bit may be its different now but if I remember correctly his no tr is 5 seconds but it's on cooldown and he can use it willingly.... the stalk to exposed is pretty fast as well and is even faster while peaking.... it's not bad at all

From what I can see, he's meant to be a killer that's supposed to end chases before they start, rushing a survivor and downing them before they can start a chase. Add to that, he has stupid second hit potential if he misses his chance, since he can stab ######### twice in a row. Add stab recovery perks to him and it's basically an infinite exposed.

His stealth is not strictly on a timer. The 5 seconds is only when a survivor can see you. So if you activate stealth then start walking it's like the pig.
Unlike the pig however you have an actually fast movement speed in crouch, and can instadown.
Not bad at all.

Even though there's not going to be a PTB, I expect the devs will gather information about balance issues, strengths and weaknesses, possible exploits etc with Ghostface, and issue a patch within a month.
Killer mains. You all know what to do. Restrain yourselves. Play ineffective. Play like complete potatoes. Make survivors think they outsmarted you. We all know how dishonest and spineless survivors are, but devs will more likely look at statistics than the endless, womanish whining of survivors. If we all manage to hold back a little, even after we figured out how to play the new killer well, he might just get that little extra help he needs.
