“I’m all ears” fix
The current I’m all ears is a bloody joke, a rushed action outside your terror radius reveals their aura and is has a cool down?
I think it instead should be any sort of vault or locker enter/exit inside their terror radius, or maybe just a certain radius around the killer preventing Huge terror radius build from seeing absolutely everything.
If they actually release that perk into the live version as it is I’m gonna lose all hope for the devs.

wow already???? it's not even out yet or tried by us and you are asking for a re work? this isn't disney!
14 -
No thanks. And like the Killer mains defending the stuff that sounds strong, wait until testing before you complain something is UP or OP.
19 -
I'd just remove one of the requirements. Either the cooldown or the outside TR part.
13 -
Try it before you moan about it.
9 -
Aura read on fast vaulting during a chase sounds dumb. The noise indication and the scratch marks should be enough obvious pointers on where the Survivor went as is. It would also hard counter the Lithe, Quick & Quiet, and Dance With Me combo that is 3 perks slots.
10 -
I'm all ears need when? Lol
I think is ok that much OP since the other 2 perks are trash, to balance a bit this weak killer
0 -
I don't think we need to test it to understand the basic use of it.
That claim was obliterated after MoM.
I think this perk could be useful if instead of just rushed actions, it was anything that triggered a sound notification (blowing up gens, slamming chests, saboing hooks, even synergizing with Spies From the Shadows).
Add that, change the "outside TR" requirement and keep the cooldown (or lower it by 25%).
Now you have a nifty perk that can help you pinpoint survivors who aren't being stealthy around you.

It's a counter to Quick and Quiet?
0 -
Lol already? Ahahah
2 -
So free aura reads all over the map at all times with most actions? Sounds... blatantly over powered. Re-read and saw if it gave a noise notification. Good lord at first I read it as if you even open a chest you get the aura read. Never mind about blatantly overpowered. But i still stand by my earlier comments.
1 -
@JawsIsTheNextKiller But this is not final, maybe we should wait until it is?
0 -
sixteen seconds = 16 seconds
Or did I hear it wrong in the livestream?
3 -
It could have zero cooldown and it would still be bad. It needs something more.
6 -
People will use it on legion LOL hes base terror radius is huge already.
0 -
If you think it's a joke, don't use it?
I see pretty good use in it, especially for any high mobility ones.
0 -
It better not counter Quick and Quiet. That would be dumb.
I do think the perk could use some kind of buff or be reworked.
Survivors fast vault when not in a chase for like three reasons. When they just finished a gen, when they're going for an unhook and when they are BMing by the gates.
The only time this perk would be kind of useful is the first two situations, but honestly they happen so rarely in my experience that it's just not worth it. Plus you already know where they are thanks to the loud noise notification! If they're running they leave scratches. And a much better perk exists for reason number one: Bitter Murmur.

You don't know the time of the cool down yet, it may well be the same as quick and quiet.
I guess not_queen was right about the forums blowing up.
Sometimes I wish they would say nothing and just wait for the ptb to test things out, at least then the complaints would be Informed.
1 -
the cooldown is a little much imo...
besides that, its a perk that will generally not find a lot of usage if you ask me. i mean, what high rank survivors would perform an fast action outside the killers TR, revealing their location?
but like many others already said, lets see what it does before asking for buffs / nerfs.
1 -
Guys they said numbers can change. That means conditions can change too. They could add something like "failing a skill check" in there.
3 -
That would be pretty good, especially because many survivors try to sneak away after failing one.
0 -
That would be nice if they did, but they generally only change numbers from PTB, not add entirely new affects like "failing a skill check". I wish though.
0 -
Legitimately from both sides of gameplay, when does ANYBODY rush actions outside the terror radius?
MAYBE rarely someone will vault right after an unhook because the killer already knows where you are but that's NEVER worth a perk slot.
If they did include failing a skill check, that's cool, has some uses.
The ONLY time this perk is going to be remotely useful is stacked with killers who can lower their TR to 0 while in a chase, and for a lot of that, it's stuff like Mirror Michael that can already have wall hacks.
7 -
You know something about the cooldown?
It's probably to prevent notification spam, like how they nerfed Spies From The Shadows by giving it a cooldown.
I wouldn't mind if the cooldown were to be made shorter on I'm All Ears, cause i never viewed STFS COMPLETELY useless, but it got a lot closer after that day...

Its not!?!
Damn it Disney I thought I told you guys to buy EVERYTHING!
0 -
I wish they'd stop with the aura reading perks. It's so cheap.
0 -
That's why I said keep the cooldown. And probably reduce the aura read time so that it is only critically useful if you're close. If you're far away even with the aura read it won't matter much because it will dissapear before you get to them.
Perhaps my version is a bit too powerful, but I still think it should include loud noise notifications in general and not just quick actions. Nobody outside a chase or at least the terror radius does fast vaults anyway lol, so this perks is close to useless as is.
0 -
If you have a basic understanding of both killer and survivor, it should be obvious why this perk is completely useless. NOBODY DOES RUSH ACTIONS OUTSIDE THE KILLERS TR. Unless of course you’re new to the game. The inclusion of a cooldown makes it even more laughable & how out of touch the devs are.
I can only see this perk being useful on a tier 1 Myers but that’s about it.
5 -
How pathetic is this. He has only just been announced and your wanting fixes already before it has even been released. For the love of God give me a break

It is 16 seconds when you pick a survivor up and it is also not all generators, it is ONLY the generators NOT being currently worked on AKA pretty bad. It is literally a a much worse version of BBQ without a blood point component.
It's quite bad.
If the timer was longer and it blocked the generators that were being worked on, now that would be something.

Does rush action also count as running?
Because i keep pressing shift key and running for rushing chest with my plunderer's Instinct or searching hex totem.
This actually hurt my play style... well, only in beginning i guess
0 -
No, rush actions are when you fast vault windows/pallets or jump out lockers.
2 -
I think the idea is to use it with the other perk that lowers your terror radius in a chase so you can track the people who fast vault while you are chasing them.
However that is total garbage, you can usually track them anyways pretty easily and that is 2 perk slots for something that barely even helps and you lose it if the obsession dies
1 -
Ah, i see...
Then this new perk is another "joke" perks like monstrous shrine and overwhelming presence
Only see aura when outside of terror radius AND has a long cooldown? Wut?
3 -
This perk is complete garbage at the moment. It seems like the type of perk that they came up with last minute because Ghostface needs 3 perks. The terror radius requirement needs to be removed in order for the perk to be somewhat useful as then you could track survivors nearby and try to mindgame them. As it stands the perk is useless on all killers except maybe Myers.
2 -
They actually just need to delete this perk.
The game does not need any more aura detection perks.
0 -
Do you seriously fast vault the windows/pallets outside of killer's terror radius?
Because that's the only way they can see your aura
4 -
People keep bringing up Myers like it's gonna be top meta on him.
The builds that keep your terror radius small either:
A. Use a mirror add on, granting wall hacks while stalking. Bringing a perk that grants wall hacks for use in a chase is completely redundant.
B. Use M&A + Dead Rabbit. Meaning as soon as you're in a chase, you have a large terror radius, preventing I'm All Ears working anyway. You could use GF's other new TR perk, but that will only offset M&A, and you will still have a moderate TR. At that point you're also burning slots for 2-3 TR altering perks in the hope that ONE of them actually functions at all.
It's as bad for Myers as it is for everyone else.
1 -
I hope it gets some tweaks down the line. Reading everyone else's opinions and thinking about it myself just makes it seem not worth using ever due to inconsistency.
1 -
M&A is more valuable because of the fov but.... Myers is going to be the only to make use of the possible combo with I'm all ears and furtive chase.... if you run dead rabbit and get 2 tokens I'm pretty sure Myers is sitting at 0 TR while in chase meaning he's going to make use of I'm all ears while in chase which is valuable on lerys or the game and maybe in the main buildings on every map but while outdoors it's not that valuable because scratchmarks and eyes are good enough.. GF can also use I'm all ears since he can 0 TR while the survivors aren't looking at him at least xD
0 -
If it's based of TR, I don't see the big deal. There are plenty of ways to manipulate your terror radius.
this would be awesome on Wraith or Michael.
