So who's excited for MORE LORE!!
Man I gotta say, one of the things that's excited me the most about the upcoming stuff has got to be the archive and more lore. All the characters in DBD are so interesting once you really get into it and I'm super excited to see them more fleshed out. And I think that will really help expand the fandom (I wasn't expecting this game to have a fandom and it does and I love it.)
I've been playing for like half a year now and I'm only just learning and digging up lore. I think the main reason I've gotten so into the game is because I'm now like... invested in the characters lmao.
Now I'm not really sure exactly what "The Archive" is going to be exactly. Only thing that could ruin it for me is making it... auric cell based. But I think that would be pointless.

Not too excited about lore. Won't really add anything to the game by itself. I just don't feel the already established stuff is really that good for expanding upon especially when we won't see effects of any of it actually in game.

Most people in this community don’t like new addition to the Lore simply because they either
A. Can’t read
B. Don’t like to read
or
C. All of the above
But as someone who was brought into the game simply by the Lore, I would love to know what life was like for the survivors and killers before they were brought into the realm.
You can’t just play a game and not wonder “what’s the story?” Behind it.

Lore is usually the most important aspect of a game for me. Absolutely stoked they'll be expanding on it in this way.
I loved the Halloween event mainly for the cinematic and lore as well

I missed that event. Started playing right after. Around the new year. But I watched the cinematic on YouTube while I was trying to figure out who the heck Vigo was. But I missed a lot of flavor text for event items and such which Is actually kind of hard to find if you have no idea what any of the stuff was lol.

I'm kinda disapointed they prioritized lore over rank rewards. I like lore, there are just so many more important things the game still needs though.

I'm hyped for lore. I can't wait seeing a cinematic version of Rin's backstory.

I actually read a lot. I don't generally read the lore of this game though because its just an afterthought. Some weird entity pulls people to hunt survivors in a loop feeding off of the survivors hope.
Before you call others out on not reading maybe you should expand your horizons. Maybe then you'd realize some half assed video game lore really is not worth the time when so many amazing stories are out there.
