Veteran thinking of returning

Hey guys, bought this game upon release on console and after a couple of years I left the game due to the matchmaking problems and the D/C epidemic.

Have these problems been rectified, or even been made to be tolerable yet? I’d like to return but wasting a nights’ gaming on only a round or 2 of DBD isn’t worth it. Thanks in advance for any responses! 👍🏻

    The matchmaking is still quite bad and the DC epidemic is probably worse than any time I can remember. That said, they are both getting huge revamps to fix the issues when dedicated servers are released in a couple months.

    If those are your only two stipulations on returning they are both still issues but will be gone very soon.

    Id say the game is in a decent spot and after hearing of whats coming from the 3 year anniversary stream id say now is the best time out of any to start getting back into the game good things are coming yes matchmaking is out there at the moment ranking is a little messed up but things to remedy these are coming id say give the game a try and if its not your cup of tea yet no big deal.

    Looks like I may have to leave it a little longer before returning then. I think I could grit my teeth and bare through the balance problems, D/Cs and so on, if lobbys were fast but I found it was taking upwards of 10 mins for just one lobby at high ranks. If the killer dodged after that time, it was all for nothing anyway.
