why do killers need to see our names???? they see a streamer name so the deliberately bring mori into game just to get sreamer, so does this mean that behaviour condones DISCRIMINATION?

Yeah exactly, if ya didn't advertise in your name anyway it wouldn't happen. Plus, sometimes I need a Survivor's name for me to keep track of them if they're my Obsession.
Finally, it's only jackasses that bring moris. Also it's not discrimination, it's just being an ass.

Just remobe the twitchtv thing from your name and you are good to go. You are in fact advertisting your stream in the killers lobby, so dont be surprised if they realize that you are a streamer (that mens 99% chance of a toxic pleb) and treat you like this.

I am at a point where I will most likely dodge any streamer/youtuber, but if they dont advertise themselve, then I cant know whether I play against a streamer

well if ur playing on pc.. simply dont put ur stream name in.. u can tell ur teammates in pregame chat. u can tell the killer in post game chat.. why do u feel the need to have it as a name? if anything. ur inviting a stream snipe

If you know what is the issue why don't you fix it by not using your steam name as an advertisement for your stream?

From my experience, streamers tend to be incredibly toxic. It's not discriminatory because
A : Anybody could give themselves a streamer name
B : it's not against a specific race, religion or anything really, anybody could be a streamer.
If anything, I'd argue that the killer probably just doesn't want to be the joke to the audience and would rather want to either avoid or end people off like that ASAP.

Anybody can get religous anytime and call themself whatever they want, and then thats discrimination?

Well, this is more of a case by case basis really. I doubt anybody would be switching around from religion to religion constantly (and easily at that), an ingame name is simply just a name you can change at any given moment. It's not like you're saying "if you're x religion or race we won't serve you", this is over a name you can change at any given moment without any thought for as much as steam will allow. Hence why you're not discriminating by wanting to get rid of a streamer early or not wanting to be in a game with them at all either.

    Look at it this way:

No one would watch a stream of you repairing a gen and then escaping quietly.

If you are streaming, the entire point is to put on a show and, usually, showcase your skills at the game.

We, as killers, are simply doing our part to give you ample opportunity to do just that.  It's not descrimination, it's active support for your success (or retirement) as a streamer.  Besides, who doesn't love seeing Mori animations?

You understand that wrong. While some streams are directed towards showcasing skill, most DBD streams certainly arent. Sadly making other players feel bad is something considered to be enteratining for a lot of people, so thats what the majority is doing

If you're streaming and you have .tv in your name you're an idiot. You're not getting any extra viewers from the actual games you are in unless you really want that +1 from the twitch sniping killer where you ######### over your entire team by providing him all info.

In fact having .tv in your name is kind of pathetic. No real streamers do that kind of #########.

I kinda agree I mean they want to get more views, but... I find it kinda lame :/ Its much better to come up with an interesting name, that will stick with people and push with ur content then puting twitch in ur name

If people would play to enjoy the game instead of worrying about what some random stranger may or may not say about them, a lot of this crap wouldn't even be an issue. Opinions are like #########, everyone has one and just about all of them stink.

Seing all the videos on youtube I know whats going on, Whether you are a special snowflake or just a ochido 2.0, I cant tell before the game starts. However it is safe to assume that almost any streamer is toxic (this is from my own experience palying the game)

@strain If I'm a killer and you're streaming I'm going to kill you, plain and simple. As others have said on ehre most streamers are toxic, especially to their fellow survivors. i've been griefed so often by streamers it's not even funny in the really high ranks.

You don't want to get targeted well then take your stream name out until after the games over and or post it in chat pre game. Most of the time everyone avoids the streamer for several reasons.

    1. They're toxic jerks.

    2. They get sniped way too easily and that griefs other survivors.

    3. They're not really focusing on the game as much as highlights which screws everyone else over. (There's some good ones out there but especially at high ranks not as much).

    4. You're attitude here shows why people dislike in game streamers and anyone here who plays killer will focus you hard core now. Whether or not they're a killer main or not, since even the baby killers will tunnel you now.

using a mori on streamers who advertise their garbage is definitely on par with, and even a type of discrimination.

Overall, people are giving you reasons as to why they hate streamers and you're dismissing them all like they're nothing and that right there is a poor way to have a discussion. You made the discussion so expect people to have a different opinion and maybe actually give them a response that matters rather than pushing them away like they don't have any clue what they're talking about.

Absolutely not, streamers know what they're getting into when they set their names to advertise their streams. The majority of the times I go up against a streamer they've all been incredibly toxic nearly everytime and only had the intent of bullying the killer for as much as they possibly can. It sucks for the people that aren't toxic but why on Earth would anybody be willing to have themselves tormented infront of a streamer rather than teach them a lesson or end them off fast? Again it's not discrimination because you're not doing this to a person because of race, gender, religion or any other personal details but rather because their username is something you know is a person asking to cause trouble. It's like a person having an offensive ingame name - you know that person will be either toxic and will want to cause trouble, why respect them?

Um people do plenty of ######### to get on tv or any kind of broadcast.

You are going around with a big LIVE sign over you head.

You can change your steam name so that its not obvious unless they are watching your stream in advance.
