I need tips on a Good Clown.
Yeah, I'll admit. I'm into the clown- Don't judge, alright? He's just the right amount of challenge and fun for me. The only downside is that I borderline suck. It's not that I need tips on how to play an overall killer, but the clown and his abilities themselves. If anyone is a clown player, I'd love to hear what you have to say!

I play Turbo Clown build, cause I like some fun - Fire Up/Bamboozle/Brutal/Enduring
But, I suggest you to watch Fungoose on Twitch and YT, he's very good on Clown and overall. He has some tips on playing Clown, since it is his fav Killer.

This sounds like a fun, silly build. I wanna try it at some point.

It is easy to try, just equip perks and go ahead :D Go for VHS and Cork as addons too :)

Try tossing Bottles to force players to unsafe areas and herd them (if they fall for it) having the add-ons to cause exhaustion is a Godsend since everyone runs Balanced Landing/Dead Hard/Lithe/Sprint Burst. Try to trick/mindgame Survivors if they're the type to loop.
I started running Devour Hope (want to see about Make Your Choice) or even Haunted Ground for some quicker downs on Survivors.

Colourphobia, sloppy butcher, nurses calling, and Whispers
Depends on the map but it helps to keep injured survivors under pressure. Pretty solid if you don't rely on perks for chases.

These are epic tips, thanks!

Basic killer works for him: BBQ, Ruin, Enduring, Spirit Fury.

You can go for the classing Enduring+SF or you can use Brutal Strength to get rid of pallets faster. It's actually better on him than other killers because of his ability.

Odds are you'll likely have some difficulties winning with him as he isn't that great.
That being said, there are some tricks that I think do help him out a bit. For instance in the killer shack you can throw a bottle at the roof from the inside and cause the gas to cover the entire building because the gas spreads out when it falls allowing for more usage out of his bottle. This trick can also be used at loops that have walls or some form of a tall object hugging a loop (like a generator or a tree)
Some players (not all) will try to run around the gas bottles to avoid the slowdown, if you notice then then I would recommend throwing them in a way where the gas blocks off the path to a jungle gym or whatever loop they're trying to get to as it might lead them away.
You'll also want to run perks that help minimize the distance survivors gain, for instance you'll want perks like brutal strength & save the best for last as when combined with the bottles the survivors will gain barely any distance.

Save the Best for Last / Enduring / Ruin / BBQ.
I tend to run these four perks. I could switch out BBQ for Spirit Fury but I really like the aura reading as it tells me if I should stick around or head back out hunting.
Tips for gas, don't throw gas on top of survivors on the other side of a pallet or right on survivors in the open. Rather, throw gas on a survivor before you hit them (so their speed boost get reduced) and throw your gas where a survivor want to go when you're at loops. Throwing gas on a survivor who's tbagging on the other side of a pallet will do nothing, but gassing an area where the survivor must go in order to avoid you.. that's the plan.
