Leatherface mains... ASSEMBLE!!! Suggest changes for our beloved Bubba here
I've been maining leatherdaddy for about 1 year, and I think it's time to do a big forum post suggesting changes for him. Let's start :)
I want his chainsaw rush to be faster... Without addons you have to literally be at 1 meter of the survivor to be able to catch him.

Give him a perk that changes the map to a giant basement, with only 4 hooks in the middle and the 5 gens nearby around it.

That would be very interesting. Bubba's chainsaw is supposed to be slower than Billy's but STRONGER, but it isn't. This would make him a very frightening killer but still countereable. I like it!

A huge post I made on Reddit.
1. 100% movement speed when revving up and when the sprint starts. Bubba actually losses speed at the start of the sprint. That needs to go.
2. Charge time stays the same. However, if you release the change button the chainsaw will slowly lose charge like The hillbilly. However, you can still tap M1 to completely cancel it. This is QoL for when you are trying to start it as quickly as possible only to let go too early and the charge be wasted.
3. Sprint length. Right now, the chainsaw frenzy lasts around 3 seconds. My proposal is to increase it to 5.
4. Frenzy movement speed. (Not to be confused with Legion.) With #1 in effect, bubba would start at 100% ms and over the course of the 5 second chainsaw, accelerate to 150%. #3 and #4 are the major buffs trying to make his chainsaw lethal. Balancing edit: Cool down ms would be decreased as to not allow for brain dead chainsawing to catch up to survivors.
5. Chillies. Chillies have little visible effect on the frenzy right now so I'm reworking them. The Uncommon would increase the length of frenzy by 1 second, and the Very rare by 2 seconds. How these would work is that after 5 seconds, you reach your max speed of 150%. Chillies would make you keep going at 150% Ms for 1, 2 or 3 seconds if you use both. A little extra time to get that hit.

There was this forum post a while back that had a cool rework suggestion for bubba.
It was like the normal LF, but with a new mechanic. For every pallet you brake with a chainsaw, you get a charge. With 2 charges, you could do a super-charged chainsaw frenzy attack. The super charged attack would be like a normal LF chainsaw frenzy, except it would last 6 seconds longer by default, and added 0.5 seconds to the frenzy when breaking a pallet (it would keep going even if you broke a pallet).

How about after he broke 3 pallets, he gets flashy blonde hair and can fly for 60 seconds. And he can cut through everything, even buildings. Super Bubba!

How about he can pull his face off (takes a few seconds), and if a Survivor looks at you without your face, they'll stand still and puke for a few seconds.
Not having your face on will make the Entity bring in the Flashlight blindness slowly, eventually making you completely blind, which can be prevented by putting your face back on. (Which also takes a few seconds.)

Bayblade bubba - hitting obstacles will bounce you and speed you up. The screen will wibble wobbly woo to make it harder to go in a direct straight line. Each obstacle hit will increase the speed and length of chainsaw.

I saw a post talking about something similar to this idea and loved it. The mindgame possibilities and the amazing plays you could do would be incredible.

Tantrum only if he hits no survivors or pallets for the entire chainsaw run. Remove tantrum on wall collision.

They should make him unable to hold his chainsaw without doing what Billy currently has to do. This gets rid of any delay caused by human reaction times, and it also makes it harder for people to straight up camp. Win-win.
They should also flat out remove the Tantrum. I am good enough at Leatherface that I never trigger it unless I go for a risky hit on a survivor's window vault; so in my opinion it needlessly punishes people trying to learn the killer without affecting good Leatherfaces too much.
100% speed would be too much, but they should at least slightly buff the speed while revving his chainsaw. Right now it's balanced so that it's almost impossible to catch up to survivors with it unless you are already right on them in an open area. Their defenses should be windows, pallets, and making you bump into things. Pure distance shouldn't be such a safe defense from Bubba.

Personally I think his chilli addons need a rework and his normal chainsaw movement speed should be 100% just like Hillbilly.
Also purple addon is supposed to be game changing yet his award winning chilli does nothing except for the crazy long tantrum.
Make his chilli addons affect his movement speed while revving the chainsaw.
Award winning chilli: +5% movement speed while revving the chainsaw allowing him to slowly catch up to a survivor who's trying to run around objects to avoid the attack.
Normal chilli (yellow): +2% chainsaw movement speed (stackable).
Combined chainsaw movement speed 107% allowing Bubba to be a real beast.
He still wouldn't get the map pressure of Hillbilly BUT he'd become the king of downing the survivor.
Other than that he doesn't need anything in my opinion.

Face collector: 10% extra speed if chasing same character as Bubba's face mask.

Bouncing bubba - leatherface now bounces off walls gaining momentum and time within his frenzy instead of going into tantrum. Leatherface only slows down/gets the speed debuff upon being in frenzy mode too long.
Canceling out of frenzying puts him into a tantrum along with bumping into objects with his face. Hitting a survivor with his chainsaw will decrease the amount of time he has in frenzy, decreasing his steam roll potential out in the open. Should be able to get two to three survivors easily with base chainsaw ie while protecting from a hook save but with add-ons that's subject to change. There will also be a brief period after bumping into walls where he will not be able to control his direction (only the initial direction based on where he's facing when launching off the wall) this is subject to altercation with addons
This will make him incredibly good at loops and steam rolling, allowing him to use the map to his advantage bouncing around corners and into pallets.
This leaves him vunerable to being out in the open, alongside vunerable to being out of control and giving him a high skill cap (requiring the user to calculate angles on the fly in order to catch their prey.)
Hallways and enclosed areas/loops remain leatherfaces specialty allowing him to steamroll within a controlled area so long as he bounces and predicts properly.

@AshleyWB I thought you were talking about the Chainsaw in his pants.
Otherwise, his charging movement speed is 100% his movement speed while Chainsawing is 120%, slightly longer tantrum and his add ons make it so he Chainsaws a few seconds longer. He just needs number buffs.

Oh so you were who posted that a while ago!! I completely support your idea, it is the best one i have ever seen being suggested. I hope the devs take your post into consideration :)
