Killer isn't fun and here's why
Survivors can use whatever they want and t bag but when killers wanna have some fun
I get this, but this is typical survivor behavior
I even put bloody party streamers and they all quit anyway to waste my addons and etc, because you don't get punished for it and they just laugh at you in end game chat/BM. There goes my add ons and offerings i just spent loops doing and grinding for a fun match.
Killer is in a dark place
0/10
EDIT: This can be said for any killer's pink or rare add ons, etc

Ehm....
Not every survivor is a toxic #########.
DCs are a problem for everybody.
Killers DC too and can you imagine how frustrating it is to not gain BPs and relizing you just wasted time ??
P.S. respect for playing Clown

there is an upcoming banwave for those players.
also, with dedicated servers they said they would introduce a new DC penality that wont work with the current system, so stay hyped!
just save those add ons / offerings for the date dedicated servers drop and you shoudl get a lot less DCs / they get punished for DCing.
7 -
They expect you to play through their whole SWF alpha squad game, but as soon as you throw a mori or purple addons on they insta DC because it's not "fair" and you're "sweaty". The irony.
There's a lot less players in the red ranks pool so you run into the same groups and people a lot. This isn't a rare occurrence at all.
30 -
You should get full points for people who dc.
11 -
@Mister_xD if you think dedicated servers will solve those problems, then you gonna have a bad time.
Dedicated servers will solve some problems, but create a ton of new ones.
7 -
It's got to where I will literally just throw a Cypress Mori every time I see these groups because I know they will just DC instantly once the game starts so I don't waste any of my good mori's.

yeah serious bump

hope you've gotten some of them

Still more boring than being on the side when they DC. And survivor in general is boring as hell compared to killer.
Killer is fun, the DC's can ruin a game, but it's nowhere near as bad as being on the survivor side.
9 -
a solid no, you're comparing alpha squads to 1 person alone against them. There's different odds and if anything survivor feels like a breeze. Dead Hard, DS, MOM, Adrenaline etc. Oh but i'm sweaty for using BBQ or Ruin, or NOED.
i vastly disagree at the game's current state
3 -
I disagree
I have more fun playing killer right now then survivor since as surv my faith often lies in the hand of incompetent teammates or killer who love to camp / tunnel.
As a killer i am on my own and decide how the game goes (in 99% of the time, every1 has a good time).
7 -
Problem is Killer DC and survivors at least keep the items (sometimes this can bug out rarely) but as a Killer you loose the add-ons either way.
Really I just can't wait for them to implement whatever "new ban system" they are working on. This issue really needs a hard hitting response.

Here's the thing I love; using ANY perk with an Obsessed, and having a SWF group pop in. Without fail, every time, whoever is the Obsessed quits, which renders my Obsession perk(s) completely useless against his friends.
It's gotten so bad that I don't use any perk that relies on an Obsession, and I have not for a long, long time. It's just such a joy that I can be screwed out of a perk slot by scrubs who have to cheat to win.
1 -
Not that Dcing is excusable for any player but reasons behind a killer leaving are way more practical these days
1 -
Yup. There's a lot of false equivalency that goes on. I play both sides, maybe a 60/40 split. I won't go into which side holds the toxicity title, but I will say that the common thing I see is that apparently only killers can be "sweaty" and "tryhard". Being called "sweaty" or "tryhard" by the Claudette running MoM, Adrenaline, and BT is the free square in postgame salt bingo.
6 -
I agree with that
2 -
Yeah it's a lot of hypocrisy.
1 -
@SasukeKun What? I'm not talking about which side is harder. I'm talking about which side is more BORING. At least read my comment. I didn't even bring up perks being OP. Read a comment before you waffle on about something else.
4 -
And i said that killer is more boring than survivor with a few sided notes explaining
0 -
@SasukeKun Then don't bring in perks. They do nothing to help your argument and don't say survivor is a breeze I know that. Even though killer is harder, it's still more fun.
2 -
what?? I'm explaining my point LOL
0 -
@SasukeKun perks have nothing to do with fun. You're literally just arguing against yourself and proving my point. Just stop it XD.
You're literally just waffling.

Agree!

I can't verify what people said post chat but I dcd because someone else dcd. I don't want to play a 3v1 when someone else dcd ten seconds into the match. I consider that sandbagging. That's not fun for me. I don't care what add ons you use or what style you play. Here's a question: did you want to play a 3v1? Is that fun for you? If it is then great that's cool man. But its not for me. You know what else isn't fun? Farming. That sucks too. And a lot of the time killers resort to farming after someone dcs early. So given how long it takes to find matches nowadays I'd rather take the L and the DC and find another match with a full group. It's really that simple. Sorry that guy ruined the game and while I disagree with it, maybe you should think twice about using pinky finger or iri heads or whatever while the current climate is what it is. Or just know going in that some people might DC against it. So no, I didn't DC to ruin your add ons and nor did I laugh at you or bm. But to drop this photo and that narrative when you're angry, which I get, is pretty petty dog. GL in the future though.

I enjoy playing killer, I don't agree that "whenever a killer wants to have fun, players DC". DCing is terrible and i hate when it happens, but its still possible to play killer and have fun.
0 -
As a person who plays both sides ALOT, i disagree alot. I believe survivor is more relaxed, but killers can still have fun, as i'm always nodding and hitting walls and stuff to acknowledge a survivors stupid mistake etc. Too many killers don't do this.
Also, don't blame the survivors really, blame the lack of balance. Addons for both sides can be too strong. They should be about changing up the ability / item, not making it stronger. It's not fun to play against insta heals (and back in the day insta flashlights), just as it's not fun to play against addons such as those nasty ones you have (on top of noed by the way not that i'm gonna stop you from playing how you like).
The main difference is, if a survivor is scummy, killers can get their own back by camping, but if killers are scummy, all survivors can do is keep playing or leave, and they'd rather save time and take the latter option.
The irony is, many complained killer was too weak for ages, and whilst they were right in a sense, killers such as nurse, billy, and spirit are not, and many addons can make weak killers such as clown madly OP. The problem is addons, offering and perks can change a terrible killer to a great one, making it incredibly difficult to balance, as they will either be too strong, and cause people to DC, or will be too weak, and no fun to play
3 -
I understand, but if you dont care about your items and just wanna get those BPs...its not fun when the killer DC ;/
0 -
In lower ranks, experienced, communicating survivors know how to stack certain builds and it's easier said than done by what you said. You never stated which ranks
0 -
You know what else is petty? DCing and wasting my add ons DOG.
3 -
Yikes, again I didn't DC to spite you. It's not always about you. Would you rather I get hooked and leave the game via death? Is that fun? Is that something you'd rather it be? I'm so confused now because I was under the impression you made this post because you wanted a fun game and people left... But I guess now it's moved onto your precious add ons and bps. I guess it's my job to humor you when things don't go your way, or mine. Give me a break, grow up. Zzzzz

Killers cant dc?

its pretty obvious which side is more toxic looking at survivor . though i play both sides i play more killer and almost every post game there is survivor saying nice things ;) and i maybe seen few toxic killers in chat almost never but yeah most of em were anyway triggered by bming survivors
2 -
lol "looking at survivor"

4 Man Alpha Squads sound like the most boring thing yo play on a Sunday afternoon.
You sit behind a Gen, click m1 for 3 minutes and that's the game. Uh no BORING..
Sometimes I DC from deranking killers because it's boring as heck.
0 -
I'm currently playing legion in red ranks, with Ruin, thana, surveillance, and Nurses ( Only level 26-8 ).
Killer can certainly been frustrating, but I enjoy playing killer more than survivor.
Survivor relies alot on your team and the killer. Having a boring killer or trash teammates ruins the game. Though with killer you can control the game a lot more, making it more funnier for me at least.
Also people talk about "O killers DC too", but in reality killers DC a lot less than survivors.
3 -
@Mister_xD You're being very naive if you believe that Behavior will ban anyone more than a day when the Dedicated Servers go live and the new DC ban system goes into effect.
2 -
At least you can keep your item.
Killer can't.
1 -
Just DC too to save your items...

I've had 3 bloody party streamers one after the other ruined because a killer DCed before the game even really got started. I've stopped using them because the killer ALWAYS dcs when I do. This isn't just a killer problem, and killer also gets some compensation points when a survivor DCs. I'm on PS4 though so we don't have an end-game chat unless someone messages you or you message them. I've never seen 3 survivors DC, only 2 at most, and when I use bloody party streamers as killer, I still manage to get my points. Items should not be used(as in you don't get the bonus BP and it doesn't vanish from your inventory) if a killer DCs. If this happens often on the killer side(it doesn't to me), then perhaps the same if three survivor DCs, but honestly a killer would never get his BPS used if it counted 1 DC. As for add-ons, a lot of addons are too OP to be used multiple times. That's why they get one use. Perhaps if 3/4 survivors dc within the first 5 minutes, then you should get to keep it, because after 5 minutes, at least you got some use out of it, and if the survivors dced, then they usually do that when they've been caught. I dunno what addons you were using but I know one red addon makes it where you can one hit down survivors and honestly that's kind of a BS addon, so I can imagine how much fun the survivors would be having facing a slowing gas where they're also exposed. Not excusing their behavior but it is kinda BS to basically have an unbreakable NOED all game as long as you hit them with a projectile before you hit them. I think a DC should give the killer 2k BP per category(in other words 8k BP), so that if 4 survivors DC the killer gets full BP, and the survivors should all get 32k BP if the killer DCs. I feel like that'd cut down a lot on DCs in general.

The killer's life is not for cowards or people who can't take a lost match now and then
1 -
No, its for suckers like us who enjoy being punished in Bully Simulator 2016, but this only applies in the case of a SWF or actually organised solo survivor team (which is rare.)
A well organized team knows what to do, they know the loops, the most busted perks, and the layout of each map. A SWF usually consists of one or two people who can loop the killer for a long time (considering they're anyone but Spirit, Billy, Nurse, or Legion.) and as a result you're stuck in a match that basically has a huge (No fun allowed) sign everywhere you go.
Only non-SWF games are fun, unless you're looking for a challenge which I sometimes do. And I say a challenge, not a display of 4 MoMs procing at once during the end game.
2 -
This happens from both sides though. I've been in plenty of matches where the killer disconnects because things aren't going their way. Some people are just unable to accept defeat, whether they are playing as a survivor or a killer. I just wish you didn't lose your BP when the killer disconnected by crashing their app. That needs to be fixed ASAP.
2 -
It sucks for everyone i agree, sometimes though people crash and that shouldn't count as a leave. I've crashed and had to quit because it will freeze

@Poweas He politely disagreed with you. Don't start accusing him of poor character because of that.
On the topic however, Killer is still fun but there are issues. Many of them are simply ghosts of an earlier stage of the game but they do still exist. The community is a big part of why killer can be frustrating or stressful due to the toxicity. My personal strategy for dealing with this is to always respond uniquely and kindly to everything (Such as having a different "gg" type saying, or responding to common insults with kind but also unique responses.)
It makes people realize that you're not just a bot but a unique person. From my experience it at the very least makes them think twice if not stop them from doing it to others in the future. Makes you feel a lot better about it as well.

My issues with the game and playing as the killer are the following:
If you are good with a killer and have unlocked everything you figure out what works for you and from that point onward it's just grind.
SWFs are a big counter to my fun in the game, because you don't know before hand if you need to bring your "A"-game or can goof around.
Yes not all SWFs are sweaty, but if you just try a fun perk build and then run into a squad, you hate it even more, because there is nothing you can do against.
If you run into too many toxic SWFs in a row you yourself start playing sweaty, because you don't want to lose against those voice abusers.
To top it off is the lack of viable killers at red ranks.
What the devs don't get is, strong killers are fun killers!
I have far more fun outwitting a good Nurse or juke a Billy then pity a Legion for trying.
Maybe we need some indicators of what kind of SWFs we are facing, fun/normal ones or toxic ones.
How to achieve such a thing?
Just let us tag players/SWFs after the game with a toxic mark and over a certain tresh hold they get shown to you in the start lobby as a "challenging" SWFs group.
Having a clear SWF indicator would help to chose my load out to be viable during the match.
BTW, why is there no option to save and store my favorite perk builds?
Like rune pages in LoL or load outs in most other games? I would rather have this then a snotty Ghostface.
