People with CRAPPY Connections
Please stop hosting with your wifi and walmart connection as a killer and then thinking you are good at the game because you are able to get a 4k kill. like really???? 🙄 STOP! you are just dumb for thinking so.

It's also not my fault the ping is fine in the lobby, but when I get into the game I'm teleporting around like it's Portal 2.

If they get someone closer to them the people they are hosting won't be effected at all.
Lag is just distance from the host creating high ping. You're far from the laggy guy.

I am not talking about distance I am talking about crappy connections like a wifi or internet speed that are not ideal for hosting. I know about ping, I paid good money for 1gbps so why should I be searching for lobbies that have good ping when in reality if these people with crappy internet stop hosting as killer and just play as survivors will make my lobbies wait times less longer.
Yes I left lobbies with red pings but why will I be inconvenienced to be searching for lobbies when the next one I join is just the shame ######### connection.
The cycle just never ends.
Please if you are invested in a ps4, xbox or a gaming pc which cost hundred of dollars, For heaven's sakes invest in a decent ISP and STOP being cheap just so you think you are a good killer.

what is not cool is people defending these killers with crappy connections who act like that are some MLG player on DBD. I don't mind the connection I can always leave,
but it isn't in my nature to DC in the middle of the game. what gets me is the negative attitude of these try hard killers, Not the connection.
it is just that they use the connection as an excuse.

Ping doesn't equal lag. There are other factors that aren't counted for that can affect someone's connection. It's just a rough indicator (ping).
As someone with an up-and-down connection, I can tell you that lag is ######### on killer side as well. I've had people tell me I was lagging when they were teleporting across the map for me. Kind of hard to hit someone who has the base kit of a nurse. Internet up-keep is expensive and some people may be renting, so they can't control who their internet provider may be or have much choice because of income/area.

You've come to the wrong place to complain about other people's connection. It isn't as if the people you want to be angry with are here. Or even if they are that they will care about the single person with 1gb internet having a moan about how bad the games are on a p2p connection that could easily match you with someone in another country that your own thus resulting in high latency games.

Yes, it is annoying, but people have dealt with it for three years. Besides, soon that lag will be a mostly distant memory with dedicated servers anyway.

You really think people with bad internet are simply too cheap to get better internet? Can you possibly be that ignorant? People with bad internet have the internet they can get. Most places only offer one ISP. You don't get to tell people they can only play half a game they bought because it might inconvenience you.

Again, you don't get to decide who gets to play the entire game they bought. But by your logic you should only play killer with your 1gb internet. If anything isn't it your responsibility to only play killer since you can host such a stable lag free game?

$180??? I paid only 25 dollars on a package deal I got from my ISP using fiber optics. and yes sorry to say if you want to play good graphics 4k on pc then you have to pay to enter that prestige gaming.
same with any game you got crappy internet it sucks for you and for everyone when you host with your McDonald connection.
go play outside or better yet ask your mommy to get you better connection..
or you know what's still even better???
how about getting a decent job so you can afford to move out of the boondocks and your mom's basement and live somewhere where there is better internet.

@sickOfLAG While I understand your frustration, you have no right to tell people how to spend their leisure time. If you join a lobby and you see the ping fluctuate a lot, leave the lobby.
BTW, if you are having that many matches with lag, just so you, the problem is probably you.

Unrelated to the topic but more peaceful, is everyone getting a weird connection thing today? All of my games ended up with the killer DCing (Or maybe it's my internet disconnecting me?) And I know it wasn't rage quitting because most of the games I wasn't doing too good. :O Anyone know if it's just a connection problem?

I'm not going to argue if you are right or wrong because pretty much everyone here has done so themselves. What i will say is...nobody cares. If you want to rant on a public forum, people are going to have opposing opinions, If you can't handle that then quite frankly, you need to grow up. Because if you cannot understand that everyone's situation is different, then why the heck should anyone listen to anything you have to say.
We all deal with lag, but it's rare that anybody storms onto the forums and throws all their toys out of the stroller because people can't/don't have the internet that meets your requirements.
Now, i have to assume that you are at least over 18 given the games certification, though his is debatable given your current actions. However it seems that somebody has forgotten to impart one of life's very important lessons. Stamping your feet stops working around about the time you learn to tie your own shoe laces. If you want people to listen to you, act like you have a single OUNCE of respect or compassion for other people, otherwise prepare yourself for pretty much more of the same as what you have gotten here.

It's not psychology dear, it's a simple reminder of common decency and a somewhat gentler than some reminder that you don't get to decide who gets to play a game based on how much they can afford to spend on their internet, Just as you do not get to dictate what somebody writes on a public forum.
And "Duh?" Maybe i was a little optimistic on the whole "Over 18" deal
You want on topic? Fine. The devs will not stop people playing based on their internet. You can scream, shout and insult all you like. It won't change anything. Your choices are to literally deal with it or play something else, or hope dedicated servers solves the issue. End of story really.

It's obvious OP is a troll who is probably a toxic survivor main, but I'm putting my 2cents in as one of the least toxic people in the DbD community.
I've had more issues with individual survivors lagging, and because of it teleporting ahead like an automatic dead hard every 2 seconds, then I have had with laggy killers (my issue with killers is usually how they miss someone who crouches midchase in the open and somehow lose me.)

- inflammatory - I stated dumb and people literally thought I was talking about the connection when clearly I was referring to their way of thinking.
- nothing is extraneous in my discussion, in fact they are related to killers who act stupid and obnoxious when getting 4k with crappy connections.
- My primary intent is to point out why killers with bad connections win and then act all bossy like.
- if you become emotional from this factual method of abusing the flaw in the system then guess what? you or maybe someone you know is guilty of abusing this method to get 4k kills.
- Hosting with a bad connection is similar to lag switching just that you use the ISP's poor connection rather then a switch.
- playing PVP and hosting with a bad connection.... REALLY????? who do you think has the advantage? DUUUUHHH!
