REMOVE survivors controlling Ghostface stalking all together
I really don't know why we are doing all the number gymnastics with the power of ghostface. Why on earth is his power reliant on survivors doing TWO mistakes (not seeing ghostface and getting downed while exposed)?
Why are we creating a power like Plague, where survivors are controlling it? I want something like Billy or Myers, beeing in full control of my m2 ability.
Haven't we seen what happened with Plague? If the survivors decide not to cleanse (->removing your m2 ability by a big chunk) you will have the most boring gameplay as Plague.
This change is making ghostface weaker than necessary, weaker than he possibly could be. Imagine Myers would have such kind of mechanic. He would immediately drop some tiers down. And ghostface isn't thaaaat much different to myers in terms of M2 stalking ability. Just different numbers. Shorter stalk, but also shorter exposed timer.
Devs, I will not do this mistake again. I will not buy a killer who's power is under control of the survivors. I bought Plague and I regret it so much. She is there level 50, not even prestiged because I can't play here. She became boring af once survivors started the no cleanse meta and me beeing an absolute basic M1 killer after 1 minute of the game.
Remember on stream when you said "we want fun killers and not viable killers"? Guess what: making m2 controlled by survivors is not only making a killer unviable but also unfun.
No, for sure. I won't buy ghostface as long as this mechanic exists. And I think many feel the same who have the experience with Plague beeing boring and disappointing.

good post couldnt agree more. we need more ppl like you who stand up against the "fun" police of bhvr. lets show them that its not ok how they release weak ass boring to play killers anymore and NOT buy the dlc guys.

Seconded, killers needs to be scary and powerful not a joke.
Let GF use his power freely

Agreed, the problem is that people will buy it anyway, and no message will be sent to the developer

While I do agree, you can't really convince people to not buy Ghostface.
They're gonna buy him, as will I cause I want his perks.

I dont get why this keeps happening. Did the reaction to Legion really rattle them that much?

I agree, the concept of having a killers power in the hands of a survivor is just idiotic.
They obviously had a shift in how they want to make powers, ever since clown every killer has had a power gauge to limit their powers and multiple downsides for using their power. I hope the past two killers being influenced by survivors isn't a sign of how they want the next few killers to be.

I'm not convincing anyone, everyone has his own brain. However, I want to mention that u r part of the problem.
Btw, his perks are garbage anyway. I personally wouldn't even take them in the shrine once avaliable, just makes the grind heavier without real benefit

This thread is basically telling people not to buy, and that comment cements it. I am not part of the problem as I do not have a side in this matter. I buy what I want regardless of another person's opinion.
The perks are kinda alright, they need number tweaks and maybe restriction removal, but they are generally fine.

It's just sad that such well designed killer like Plague and an iconic killer like ghostface had to be "abused" by the devs like that. Really wanted to buy Ghostface cuz I liked his stealth potantional.

With that logic: you r telling people to buy it lol

How about no?

So you're saying the weakness is:
"his power reliant on survivors doing TWO mistakes (not seeing ghostface and getting downed while exposed)?"
And at the same time you say:
"I want something like Billy or Myers, beeing in full control of my m2 ability."
Where Myers also needs to down you while you're exposed.
Would you mind to explain that? Or did you just overshoot a bit trying to construct a second argument which (in the whole context) better fits your narrative?

I actually like his power design since survivors forcing you out of NS can serve as kind of whispers. Also it's usefull to tell you that nobody sees you which in itself is quite usefull.
Now that detection was fixed you can just hide behind some object for a sec and then peek out again and you'll eventually stalk them enough for exposed to trigger. There is enough control on killer side so I don't see it as a weakness but more like a skillful side of playing him.
His last 2 problem are that he isn't immune to aura reading while in NS and that hooked/downed survivor reveal him. If these 2 problems get fixed I think he'll be perfect.
