The survival bp is so forgetable...
You either get 6k worth of points for espacing or .5 to 1k for dying, no matter how long you lasted.
I got 1k when i died after the gates were open... Any idea why the devs don't increase this?

because 5k is the reward for escaping not for participating

Exactly, no other reward is this high, which basically forces the devs to tone down everything related to the survival bp category.
It should be half of this with other things being considered and giving more BP (how long you survived, how long you stayed without getting injured, healing yourself)

survival points are hard to get without repeatedly escaping from bear traps. they could definitely add more opportunities to get more survival points instead of making escaping the top priority

I liked someone's idea where the more people escape, the more survival points each survivor gets. If all 4 escape, you get 8k survival. 3, 7k. 2, 6k. And then 5k.

Well imo survival category should be focused on how long you survive the trial, not did you escape.

Insert the old "hide and seek/hostage" situation all over again.

But there's an end game now. And they could easily fix that by making it so if you don't work on objectives for a certain amount of time your survival points stop accruing.

No end game if you just keep 1 gen up and then go play hide and seek.
The problem is if you tie gaining these points strictly to "time survived" then A: Less random players will try to save you. B: Some people will hide and do nothing.
It will just push the idea of being a "team" even further away.
