People still DC against Legion?
Just had a match as Susie and 3 of them DCed when they saw me, the other one immediately found the hatch ._.
Thanks for making me waste a survivor pudding tho -_-

People will DC for any reason. This just proves Legion wasn't the real issue in causing people to just DC on a killer they don't like. I feel like the streamers glorifying it did. And now that mentality is cemented along with no punishment.

The punishment only went to Legion and anyone who actually wanted a fun time playing them. But yes, streamers encourage people dcing against Hillbilly or certain add-ons being used (some of them fog-whisperers). Hell, people dc for being outplayed like the killer isn't suppose to ever catch them.

A reminder that Legion is about on the same tier as spirit CURRENTLY when played well, and the rework didnt occur because of whining, it occured because legion was being abused in an unintentional way.

Sounds like you’re watching the wrong streamers lol. Using that same mentality, do these crappy streamers suggest a killer DC against certain survivor perks or add-ons like insta-heals?? Totally wrong streamers, watch someone that doesn’t mind facing challenges...this is survival horror; no room in the survivor game for cowards.

I'd like to see anyone who rates them S/A alongside Spirit, because no one has come out and said that. They fixed the abuse but also castrated other things not being abused and still need to look at the add-ons because most are useless.

Yes.
I had a Survivor game on The Game, and barely two minutes in, two people DC. Thirty seconds later, I see Susie start walking my way.
She was super nice and let us escape due to it.

it literally was, the thing that was adressed, was their insane ability to just tunnel and chase down a singular survivor. Their mods need to be fixed, other than that, they are in a pretty good spot, and see pretty regular play at high ranks.

Unfortunately, they also addressed what made the Legion fun to play as. And by "addressed", I mean they nerfed every single thing that made the Legion fun to play as.

purely opinion, they are still by far one of my favorite killers, and while this echo chamber of a forum that contains under 10% of the player base doesnt indicate it, if you actually pay attention to some of the less toxic streamers, and just the game in general, they are pretty popular overall. I didnt even like them before, because of the playstyle they encouraged, but now that thats been removed, and experienced legions focus more on the pressure playstyle, all is well.

Not really an opinion. I still play as legion and have been called a legion main (I don't believe in maining personally), and there's too much frustration there. And before you boo-hoo that I know nothing, I did get to red with by playing them only before reset.
Most of my bp are wasted trying to get at perks because the add-ons are pretty much garbage now. I watch some chill streamers and they say he needs tweaks, because his power can be used against him. His power barely applies the needed pressure, the player still has to work hard to win. You can't really catch up to survivors with FF and the stun just adds more distance. Vaulting is just silly with them, which wasn't a big issue before the nerf. It's still more profitable to try and 'tunnel' with them, they just don't relay on FF as much.

Counterplay with missed attacks? Fixed.
Frank's Mix Tape spam? Fixed, alongside not being able to lower the mending at all without, you guessed it, "Frank's Mix Tape"!
Endless Mending Bug? Fixed.
Moonwalking? Fixed, and added an indirect buff to Borrowed Time
Hell, Legion can't even SEE the mending bar go down anymore.
So please, tell me what Legion's TRUE problem was.

As someone who plays basically nothing BUT Legion, I would love to see the day where Legion and Spirit are remotely close to each other.

This is why people DC, they DC then killers get nerfed so they're easier to play against, then they won't DC. Shouldn't nerf killers based on disconnects :\

It doesn't prove anything of the sort. People DC from Legion because Legion is annoying. Simple as that. Not in a "oh, it's too hard" way. Just plain annoying. It's not fun in the least, and the majority of the community will most likely back me up on that (majority meaning - not the vocal minority on this forum).
It's an awful design. It's the equivalent of having a small child poke you with a pointy stick constantly while you try to do something you otherwise enjoy.
If that were even remotely accurate, Nurse wouldn't be where she is right now, and Huntress hitboxes wouldn't be the size of Cowboys Stadium.

^ And you know, how many legion players have stopped playing? How is it known that it was legion specifically causing the dcs? Just because there was a correlation does not mean it was causation. I just really wanna see the full statistical report.

Ummm, actually no. But agree to disagree. Correlation is not causation. There's too many other unaccounted (even accounted) for factors that saying just this one is responsible is not true.

Not directly - but usually it's a pretty big indicator.
Disconnects happened. Legion came out. Disconnection happened 10x more. Yep, totally not the most likely reason.
Logic, it doesn't exist in your world.
I don't need to be educated. I come from a standpoint of evidence and general consensus. People disconnect from Legion games because it's annoying. When something is annoying, it is not fun. It's not something that can be argued. It's demonstrable fact. Run along now.

DCing is a symptom of the larger issue: A lack of punishment. Some believe it to be all right to DC based off of multiple factors. Since most don't care about other's fun, they also don't care about it leaving whoever's leftover with less points, etc. This is probably why most other games have more of a punishment for DCing. Otherwise people would just do it for whatever reason they'd like and it would ruin the experience for everyone else.

Which is why I asked for a full report, because just saying random numbers isn't fact. People disconnect when they are losing, doesn't matter who the killer is. Something new in a game brings a challenge. No one knew how to face legion, so they disconnect. They did not bother to learn and adapt. This comes from people expecting an easy killer to bully. So no, it wasn't legion specifically. It's the mentality that this game has been fostering. Also, they cannot tell if a dc is the server kicking someone out or that person pulling the plug. Plus, the dc problem has been and will continue to be rampant within this community.
General consensus isn't always right. Truth and agreement are two different things.

@Paladin_Goo The complementary idea that "correlation implies causation" is an example of a questionable-cause logical fallacy, in which two events occurring together are taken to have established a cause-and-effect relationship.
If bees are dying and chocolates are also depleting, bees aren't dying due to the chocolate depletion. It isn't a big indicator at all. It's a fallacy.
