Getting kicked out of matches

I’ve been getting kicked in the middle of matches lately.

I just received a new router with internet speed that is unknowingly slow. I was lagging so bad as killer in my games to the point where people were rage-quitting on me, and as survivor, I would just be removed from matches.

I fixed it by using an amplifier and a wired connection with an Ethernet cable. I’ve experience no lag so far but I’m still getting disconnected from matches all of a sudden.

Is this happening to anyone else or is it just me? PS4 here btw.
