Why are all PS4 players bullies?
99% of PS4 players i encounter are jerks who tbag or continuously beat you on the hook. That's why I don't play nice anymore unless I recognize somebody as a respectable player. We need to quit being so darn rude to each other!

Sadly, players with an ego over 9000 will always be present. All that we can do is not to get down to their levels of mediocrity. Just let karma make them pay.

I invite you to pc version.. After getting bullied there on maximum scale you would think about PS4 players beeing angels.

I'm not saying people need to let me win or anything, just some respect for the other player is nice. Idc about genrush or camping, but let's keep our ego out of the game.

Most people on PS4 play fine in my experience. Maybe a little t-bag at the gate or a whack on the hook but I can live with that. Salty messages yes that happens, but usually only from survivors who did badly. If I 'lose' / 0K I never hear anything or get any unpleasant messages.

I mean, I faced off against a Legion yesterday and I gave him a gg, he said I was the first person to actually not be toxic.
This makes me reevaluate what the community is.

Similar thing happened to me. Played against a really good pig, like the person wasn't scummy in the slightest. We only got out (I think we all did or one didn't) because they didn't have perks. I messaged them to tell them that and it literally made their day.
On the flip side, I actually got friend requests and friendly comments playing nurse. I was using no add-ons and her standard perks and just learning her. No one went out of their way to bash me (and I was terrible).
As legion, I had a survivor apologize for the others farming them. I gave them hatch because I knew that was happening. Like they felt bad for me because they thought that an easy game was boring. Now we're friends. :P

In-game toxic can be fun from time to time. I'm still usually too nice to my own detriment though.

I play ps4 mostly and I'm 95% of the time extremely nice.
You really need to annoy me to get me toxic, so there are still decently mannered players

People are way more butt hurt over this game than much others, I used to get mad about bm'ing back then, now it's laughable cause it does nothing for them when you know how to play the game, I just move on, 2 players DC'd right away on Macmillian for me, must have not like Hillbilly, I farmed with a Laurie and this sweetheart, Meg, lovely girl. I smiled as I let her out. This Survivor gave me a good run with Hillbilly since it had been a while since I played him, turning add ons, got gen rushed right in the beginning but as strong late game pressure, I downed this Meg, who frustrated me, I was gonna hook her, she did not struggle, I dropped her off at the exit gate, she said 'thank you but y' and was super kind, I downed her, and that confused her, told her she deserved the escape in my mind, I didn't need a 4k all the time.

you hook someone 3 times without tunneling you get a message calling you trash or no skill. If they won they wait at one of the doors till you get to it just to show you they won.
Killer it is the same way nodding at you and hitting you. I normally struggle when they do this to waste their time.

Play the game how you want to play it. Nothing else screams toxic behaviour is these who get salty at the end and have a go and bad mouth people. Sort of sad really. Some people have better skills in different areas, and some players are more bettern as the killer then surv. Just smile and move on, you aren't going to loose sleep over some childish twat waffle.

I think it has more to do with the rank you're at.
Maybe 20% of the players I encounter are genuinely "toxic".
Most just make bad plays.
I love when they keep hitting me on hook. I just keep saying," you know you dont get points for hitting me while I'm here but I get struggle points while you watch, right?" They usually walk off real quick or get super salty.

Literally the only time I will ever teabag is when I escape a camping/tunnelling killer (before there is only 1 gen left at least) or the killer uses NOED. If you do neither of these things then I see you as a respectable player and therefore treat you as such, if you actively go out of your way to not tunnel, I usually give you the kill. Can't really do anything about toxic survivors, just hope their toxicity makes up for their lack of brain cells.

Excuse the spelling mistakes, i was in a hurry and distracted. Basically i am getting relay annoyed by the PS community as well. I joined a group, and with in 20 secs, 2 of the survivors DC once the killer gets near them. Me and another keep going. we get 3 gens done, i get hooked, i die. i struggled as long as i could so the other survivor cold find the hatch. survivor gets snagged at the door. and DCs on the killer.
I being nice, messaged the Killer and said the above. basically thanks for not taking it easy on me even though there were only two of us, and good game and all. they then call me and dick head, ect and i am mad i lost my life. Uhhhhhh No, if i was mad i would of DCed. dieing is apart of the game!!! if i was mad why would i of messaged and been nice. I was trying to be like dont give up because some people are unsportsmanlike and DC when they are going to die.
Even when trying to be nice you cant win with them. I refuse to DC when a survivor and hung, there is nothing to gain from it.

I have kept this one voice message I got (I was playing Billy). Mind you, I am ######### at Billy and do it for lolz and the trophies. This guy dc'd after I m1'd him twice. Didn't even chainsaw him. Called me cancer and other bad things I'm not sure I can repeat here.
Funny thing is, I got the adept Billy trophy that same game because I farmed with the other two (the third one also dc'ed). I apologized to the two who stayed and they were chill about it. More mad about the others dcing and appreciated the gesture of being nice.
